Grouse House Bear.
Fortunately, the Bears can’t reach my feeders and I think an anger he pulled down my big step ladder that was leaning against the deck, but this is an old cam system, and it skips frames and you miss when you actually grab the ladder. New system coming in soonwith full color night vision!

After having black bears hear regularly for over a decade the past cople of years they have been scarce. This little guy showed up and it looks like his family may have just broken up as his mother takes another mate and he is likely on his own for the first time... with little fear. This was shot on November 8th 2021... after the leaf peak but great because you get a combination of color AND a view through the leaves. This is Platte Clove Road running UP the mountain between Saugerties New York and Greene County.... It's one of my favorite drives amoung many in the Catskills.... Five minutes of natural beauty.
