The start and finish in Carno. A single lap ~125 miles, 2 special tests soon after the start. Then on to the Dyfnant and Dyfi forests and later in the afternoon the Trannon Bogs and then 3rd special test to finish the day!

Always a great enduro around there.
The brecland was a very tough event the only enduro I ever had blisters holding on along the 2 mile straight's
No rest time, Andy Waters always got the check times just right and only a few of the top riders in each of the classes went clean. The Breckland a great event.

Frank. Thanks for posting this film from 1994. I am the Marshal In the Pink and purple Wulf kit. I will pull Wyn Hughes leg about needing a hand next time I see him! The Powys was a cracking event.
The Powys always good. I used to do about 100 miles in the car!

Hi Philip, I remember you and Ian very well, certainly school days. I thought you had gone abroad but not sure where. I have found you on you tube and watched your bike videos. The tracks were much different to here in Wales. I have got a lot of films on Facebook and you tube, not just motorbikes. Some footage from the Victorian festival 1988, town band etc. Have a look.
Great news, I raced in the expert class at many of these evening meetings. I wasn’t in the same class as the top riders, but loved it.
Chris, the evening meetings were great, run like clockwork and thousands of spectators. The club has done a lot of work to the track so Wednesday 1st June not to be missed.

I opened the course for this event Frank. Brian and I were in a bit of a rush putting stakes back up on the open going that sheep had been scratching against overnight. It was one of WTRA’s best events, taking into consideration the quality of competitor’s and terrain.
WTRA put on great events. Bob Perring does a lot of route marking.
@@frankmorgan5967 Bob P is a great bloke and the stalwart of the club. We’ve spent many an afternoon together chatting at my kitchen table, going over routes in the Crychan.
@@berniecoles2337 A lot of my filming is thanks to Bob. Quite often he would give me maps , point out the "best" spots and how to get in and out with my equipment. Great chap Bob.

Alma glad you enjoyed the Breckland film. Back in the 1990's for 10+ years I filmed most of the BEC events. Some of the edited films are here on youtube and several on my facebook page.

I love watching these old WTRA videos Frank. Fond memories running these events and to see some of the fellow marshals that have sadly now passed away.
