First broadcast on 27/02/88 as part of the Stereo Sequence but this is the repeat that went out at 9pm on 03/02/88. Unfortunately there is a fair bit of interference and whistling in parts of this recording (made worse by being late at night I think) but I think it adds an eerie quality that I've grown to like over the years.

Wow this is amazing footage
Shit I saw Killdozer several times in Chicago and never any pyrotechnics! I got ripped off lol!
Awesome song
I was at this gig and also the one with Andrew supporting Suede (roadhouse?). I chatted with Tony Ogden from WOT at the latter
@@PaulClark_Mcr This is the one supporting Suede. I was there too. Nice one on chatting with Tony. My diary says that Adge was there too and also Phil Korbel who used to do Meltdown on GMR if you remember him :)
@@mrdisposablerazor Ah, yes. Got them mixed up. I saw them quite a few times back then including at a venue called the Underground for In the City hosted by Craig Cash and Caroline Aherne in character as Mrs Merton (‘93?) Yes, Adge was with Tony. I got both their autographs on a scrap of paper from the Wonky Alice flyer.
Did the Wonkies do a an evening session for Phil on GMR? I remember listening to one on GMR which I think was the last of a series or even last programme
@@PaulClark_Mcr I don't remember sessions on Meltdown but they might have played some demos. Used to like the ticket and record giveaways with the phone being manned by Rae Donaldson.
a masterpiece
I was there! We were DJing that event. Granada Studios Tour. Brilliant footage, thanks for posting.
Just checked the programme and it says that performance was at 2, 4 and 6pm on Thursday July 19th. Not sure which one that footage is from but by the angle of the sun I'd go for the later one :)
We were MVITA. We played all day between bands. A really good day out. I know Samson quite well. Top bloke.@@mrdisposablerazor
大好きなアルバム。 my favorite album
tony bryan singing is filled with joy. he really means that you should be thankful for what you’ve got
Brilliant band. Enjoyed them live many times.
All songs should have only 8 sentences. Perfect.
Love this song!!! So good!!! And the video is awesome as well… Massive Attack!!!!!!!
素晴らしい楽曲です😂
Saw them around 1992 in Houston. Good background music at 26.
Como é dificil achar essa versão com boa qualidade pra download
Now there was an Australian space age send up show after Rapido which was so funny and the cast in that show used to all sing and their singing was really really good can any body tell me the name of that show
My favorite The Beloved song ................ an inmense hug of light from Perú 🌈💋🌹🌹⚡🌈😎👍...
do you have anymore Hit the North from 1993? looking for Hayward Winters
@@threedeemelodies I do but not that. In fact I'd not even heard of Hayward Winters until your query but did see Broadcast a few times so would obviously love to hear that myself. Good luck :)
Been looking for this for decades! Thank you 🙏 this was the start of my love for The Stone Roses ❤️

Sempre tive curiosidade pra saber de quem era esta voz lindissima ❤ o canal Som do K7 ajudou a descobrir a enigma voz dos anos 90. Linda demais a voz desta garota
Is this an Adam Sandler character?
I haven't seen his since I was a child. Do you happen to have any more episodes?
The 90’s were something else, glad I was able to be a teen during it.
This band inadvertently helped spark the Grunge music scene and sound!!! Grunge has its roots in a tiny little recording studio in Madison Wisconsin!!!
What?!! Green River started grunge. Just stop
Jim rocking keys and Dave guitar 😂
candy love satellite. excellent. imagine it with paul whitehouse singing
Is this pretty much unique in being a TV show with the same presenter, same title and same credits produced in two languages?
Great upload 👌🙏
All To Much from The Beatles in background so cool
Griff Rhys Jones did a parody which ended with him turning sideways and saying ‘now will someone get zese bloody ‘andcuffs off?’
Greatest band ever- --change my mind motherfurkerz
wonderful human being
Always been down to earth. Saw them, minus Gerry alas, in Denver a couple of weeks ago and they still perform brilliantly live
Met them a couple of times. Down to earth is the term. Esspecially norman. Very approachable.
Met Norman in front of the venue before the gig, Talked for some minutes, so nice and friendly. 2017 in Bilbao, last tour with Gerry, first row, in front of him, great time. I remember everybody singing papapapaaaapaaaa in I need direction and feeling we were all a happy family and young again.
Love cope . But bbc film on music. Was so fuvking cheese and cheap
Big Black T-shirt on the dude with the tele 🤟
This is one of the coolest songs ever made
🐴🐴🙉
Brilliant stuff I remember them well.
Awesome album, I love listening to it. The boys looked great back then. The 90's seem awesome, too bad I wasn't alive then
Heh, I was 2 in 1990, so not much better 😂
First full length and all EPs were pure gold. Miss them.
Essa música fez muito sucesso remixada como we got 2 be com plus staples!!!! A voz continua dela porém remixada!!! Show curti muito!!!!!!
This track was recorded after the show had ended the go betweens on whistle test broadcast 13th of may 1986 al
A song by William DeVaughn in 1971
B.Love is Sh!te....
Great band
Supported them at Nelson Mandela in Sheffield..January 1997
Where's the other one?
I was in HMV when they opened on the day this came out. Sitting on the bus with my vinyl LP on the way home, wishing the bus would go faster and thinking to myself: some of these song titles are a bit long.... Don't think a week has gone by in the last 33 years or so when I haven't listened to at least some of this album. I get frustrated when people don't appreciate the beauty and cleverness of this album.
