The Porsche group has serious financial issues especially specifically with VW and their lies/cheat about emissions and will have to pay out MILLIONS if not BILLIONS in compensation. The Porsche brand is thus far keeping the group afloat, WE are paying to keep the group alive cos seriously its facing bankruptcy cos the liabilities are HUGE. So yeah they are MILKING us all everyway anyway possible

really like this car due to tunability they can make 450hp easily and i like the fact that it is newer and therefore less problems and maintenance, but i just can't do with this sound after living with NA flat sixes. 981 GTS would be a good choice but then again it lacks the performance and still more expensive than 718S. i also daily Tesla Model 3 Performance so worried previous gen 3.4S would be quite underwhelming without much tunability and turbo.

It's an issue on all newer cars using 1234yf refridgerant. Many people add the "rock block" mesh grills the help and some add a foam in front that's a honeycomb material. The newer condensers are VERY brittle and very specific of their fill levels. The 10th gen Civic's had a MAJOR issue with this and their tubing breaking as well. Just a thing you have to deal with BUT what dealerships won't tell you is this is covered (in most states) under Comprehensive insurance! I worked for Progressive as a Claims Adjuster. Your rates may go up if you have frequent claims especially high cost claims. It being a COMP claim, likely your rates would be fine. HOWEVER your car could see it as an accident on your history report and depending on your state, you could not get DEMINISHED VALUE for the accident on your accident report.

Question ....Any reliability or mechanical issues with the transmission or 2.5 flat four turbo ??? Any concerns regarding a mid engine, highly covered and hard to reach engine to do regular maintennce on ?? Love the car. A true drivers machine.

This is exactly why I try to drive at least a 100 feet behind cars on the highway in my G87 M2 and all my radiators still have numerous rock chips :(.
