This is old post so you may not see this. Im cutting watercolor bookmarks but i need to cut to the pencil lines i have separating them all . How do you make sure you are cutting along pencil line

Good grief thank-you! I’ve been having trouble figuring out which end of the paper I’m supposed to be looking at for measuring versus where the cutting thing is. So simple and me so daft. Ugh 😖☺️

I have a question, When you are lining it up to a measurment, do you put the paper before the line, in the middle of the line or at the end of the line?

Hi! Can I know what type of pencils you use? They are very capable of doing dark shading... Even though I put maximum pressure on my pencil I still can't get the dark part out

2:06 The two roof lines should *not* be parallel! They converge to a vanishing point that is directly above the vanishing point on the horizon- in this example, the right edge of the paper. To establish this vanishing point, you need to extend the edge of the paper vertically to where it would intersect an extension of the line drawn at 1:20. This rule applies to any angled surface in a drawing, such as roof lines, ramps, and stairs. I'm surprised how few people know this, especially those who purport to teach the correct way to draw in perspective.
