This is simplest and best method of tying a bowline I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much!😊
Wow. Best method, yet never have I seen it done this way. Unbelievable
best instructions yet!!!! Thank You!!
watching your video and your channel for the first time I understand why you are successful. I don't feel like this knot is diffificult at all, in fact its awesome! now I can work a hitch and bowline off the same setup.
Why go with clear when colors keep prying eyes away from inside
So easy! Great video!
"you never trust just one knot when you're climbing" you mean except for the figure 8? lol
You can also use rotting wood instead of cloth, and char it with the same technique. It works great and keeps smoldering for about a minute or more, depending on the size. It's also more easily available when you're out in the wild.
As a sailor I thought I’d learned a couple of the best ways to tie a bowline when you to attach a sheet to a sail but I hadn’t tried this one yet. It’s simple straightforward and easy to do even with a wet sheet in your hand. Thank you. (And for that guy who said you’d never need to tie a bowline this way- well obviously he was never in the sea scouts)
It confounds me why in these vids it is never mentioned how great this knot is for tie-string jogger pants; and or hoodies!
Here in NE OK, we have mushrooms such as these, but they're more of an off~white/tan color. Found 3 last yr, but when I went back to check them (3 days later), they were dried up & laying on the ground. Bugs had gotten ahold of each stem and chewed through completely. When is best time to harvest Morel (?) Mushrooms? Also have found 2 types of Turkeytail (?) Not completely sure which, if any, are edible, as no one reaiiy gives 'Close~Up' views of bottoms. If Morel stems are cut higher up, will that allow plant to live and produce more? Or will it kill plant altogether? We also have something called May Apples? About to do some research on them. Thanx for vid!
Good job scout!
Nicely done.
Did you start on the riviere noire at lovers falls?
Best video I’ve seen on this knot, thank you
God bless you sir. You have my gratitude; one of the best explanations on how to tie a bowline.
Loved it. But I can’t do a quick release that way.
Super video! Very well done!!!!! :) Thanks! :)
why would anyone tie it any other way?! This is perfect
Bro, this is BY FAR the best way to tie this knot! You make it so simple, got it perfect the very first try! TY
Good indtruction
Bway Know!
I do this the same way except put the loose end in my left hand, we call the first loop on the working end in my right hand turning the ignition so its literally like turning the ignition with right hand. That has helped it stay with me. hopefully that helps someone else
Quick question, why did you use the same knot of both trees ?
That’s how I tie them, like you I can’t remember any other way, but then I don’t need to
The bug situation is unreal.
Best bowline video so far 10/10
Bro that’s crazy. Super cool. Balls of steel. Why not bring a small tent?
Wow...thats strong and resists shock well.
The detail about where to hold the working end just before you set the knot I find sooo helpful to making the knot look right. Thank You!
I have a patch of dogbane growing in my backyard with some lesser snakeroot
I’m watching this cause the house I just got has beavers living on the property with their dams
Why isn't one knot enough? My guide did not teach me this 🤔
Best explanation of this method of tying a bowline that I've seen. Strong work, my friend.
Heyy buddy, had a nice time on the island?
Yes! Thanks for the tour. I got that chain out of the tree.
This is amazingly easy once you get it down, which only took a couple of practices!
Excellent tutorial!
My great grandfather was a Gilparick
This is how I tie the bowline. I found all the other methods difficult to remember. This one should be the primary method used in tutorials . I haven't seen any negative comments saying it is difficult to follow. The traditional rabbit ,hole and tree tutorials are overly complex and raise distracting questions as to why the rabbit is coming out of the hole only to immediately go back down into it
This is the best one
I’ve watched thousands of videos and this was the best way and quickest way thank you so so so much
Subscribed right a way
I am not sure knots are sufficient
I’m so happy I happened upon your channel ! I was watching another channel on milkweed and dogbane and saw the title to your video and so glad I did, and subscribed immediately. Love your channel ! You explain everything clearly and concisely and make it easy to follow your instructions. I have a patch of dogbane in the back of my yard and I’m going to start the process of making cordage. Thanks so much !
Holy crap!!! This is the easiest way to tie this knot. You are knot Sensai. :) Thanks!!!
Actually, he made it complicated.
excellent! so versatile for securing one end of my tarp ridgeline around a tree so I can do a trucker's hitch on the other end to tighten it up. I'd used a siberian hitch for years, but now that I'm using super thin zing it (amsteel) cord for my ridgeline, the siberian hitch has been jamming
Totally agree with your perspective on the process being fun, and not something to be optimized for the sake of production rate! This has got to be the best video on dogbane cordage that I’ve found. You are so thorough with your info, and everything is clearly explained. Thanks for sharing your insight and enthusiasm!
nice
I think this is the best for me to remember
Excellent video. Well paced and easy to follow.
I have been a Firefighter for 10 years and for some reason always found this knots difficult. Doing it this way is, for me, so much simpler.
