1:26 this right here is what 95% of anime is missing in the last 10+ years. Its like two-three frames max, but the way the animators illustrate goku spinning\contorting his body to speed up and chase the falling Cell...DAMN its so good!! The little details may not be "cost effective" but on the contrary, its those little "expensive details" which make shows worth their weight in gold for years to come!

Best fight in the series.... Yes even over DBS, yeah the last few episodes looked nice in DBS, but they don't even get close to this.

I wish whoever animated the Cell vs. Goku fight animated the entire series, the animation was awesome, Goku never looked more serious in his life, they had him lookin good... If you go back and rewatch you can EASILY tell when the swapped the animators out, and its sad because the rest are not even close to this fight. You can feel the impact in their blows and tell it hurts, where in the rest of the fights, you don't really know unless they cough something up from it. Watch the first part of this fight, then watch this if you don't know what Im talking about, and if you still don't see it, Idk what to tell you... It goes from super cheap and slow to amazing just by switching the episode.

Personally, I dont get the hype for this fight. Only like half of it is visible, they use the same Cell spinning animation 3 times I think, and its just kind ot boring in my opinion. Nothing too special. I do like Studio Cockpit though.

Rathbone was a first class swordsman. He had to pull his thrusts and parrying since he could easily outdo his opponents.

I just never get tired of watching this. I know it is choreographed and I know that a fencing master doubled for Tyrone Power for some of the more difficult parts, but it really is a masterpiece. It never seems forced or fake. Modern martial artist films choreographers could really take a hint from it.
