Mostly garbage trucks, everyone (except for garbos and garbo filmers), this channel as you can see revolves around garbage trucks the most, my name is Liam and I should be taking videos mostly in the holidays, hopefully gettin some raw coverage of anything good i can find, from old old iveco accos to new raptors. This channels features hopefully no monotony of videos!
Georges River Garbage - SL75
Well it's been a long while since the last upload and glad I finally made the move to get onto uploading some more of my long awaited footage. In this video I'm out in Oatley on Anzac Day 2023 proudly listening to and videoing the pumped girl SL75 after receiving directions from SL72 driver Darren.
As I was down there I saw the ex Eurobodalla collecting recycling which had started not long before and can be heard in the second last clip behind the camera. I was most keen on getting 75, just can't get enough of that pure dry rev off her, so I hope you enjoy my shots, even I keep going back to listen 🤙. Cheers to driver Damien for being cool with me videoing, awesome bloke I hope to see again.
My next videos will feature a few more varieties including the SL65 & SL66 on a rainy day, as well as another ride along on SL71. I've been relatively up to date with what's happening with contract extensions and the late arrival of the new trucks which were supposed to arrive next month but are significantly delayed.

Back after a long break and onto uploading my past earlier 2022 videos of the SL741 which I haven't seen much of on CZcams. I intentionally went to film this truck straight after filming SL740, knowing this one has a distinct whine to its rev, kinda reminding me of the sound of the old reds trucks (such as truck #510) from Shoalhaven.

Im amazed that 1)nothing is recycled and 2) no scrappers pickup up the metal items. An appliance wouldnt be at the curb 10 minutes here in canada and we have to sort literally everything. Furniture is not picked up , you must deliver it to the landfill where it is shredded, not buried. Almost nothing goes in the actual landfill here. Most of the true"garbage" is burned for heat and to produce electricityand almost everything else is recycled or goes to a composting facility

Ohh man my grandad used to be a dust bin man in the states. If he was there he’d be there looking through all that before they get there. He’s see things what people throw out and he’d take it home. Anything what’s got good value he’d keep. It’s not like they need it anymore if it was thrown out 😂 There is this one old table small antique clock he found. Still has it till this day and it’s gotta be over 50yrs old.
