its a naked handle why heat it at all? hot water goes directly through the basket and doesnt technically touch the handle and there are no spouts.

The first appearance of the low-height pole lion dance was in 1983, introduced by the Hing Lok Tong lion dance troupe. In the 1992, Master Siow Fei Hong introduced the high pole lion dance to the lion dance competition in Hong Kong, bringing global attention to this platform. He, along with lion dance groups from Hong Kong and other countries, standardized the high pole lion dance to make it more easily promotable worldwide. Master Siow is not the inventor of the high pole lion dance but rather a pioneer in promoting and standardizing it.
