I had never heared this first song 'Inch of Dust' before. It just blew me away, not just the song but also this performance, this charisma from the signer. Amazing !

This concert is amazing on so many levels. The song " Inch of Dust" hit me on such a viseral level as well as the others. It's like Sam can read my mind it's crazy but then again we all experience a multitude of feelings but to express it as succinctly and beautifully as he does is an art, performance wise when I tear up, to smiling and wonder and joy and love. That is a prodigy.

Praying for an eternity where I’ll be able to somehow experience moments like this performance in person.

This is amazing. Thanks for uploading. It's really cool to see that Sam's performance has always been this intense and sincere and not just acting up for the crowd. I have bought all their albums and seen as much as I thought there was to see of them on YT. I loved them before I saw this - I love them even more now. :)

One of the most amazing sets ever. Saw them live a few years ago and was blessed with just as good of a show.

I love this because it shows Sam really going for it before the audience was responding. He gave it all to a crowd that wasn't responding that much - even though it was their THIRD show of the day. Much love and much respect. (From a fan who only caught on after "Singles" and is just now catching up on the backlog.)

For me FI its Kind of a League of its own...there no words to describe them..they are one of those type of unique bands.

... I realized I loved my stepfather... and then he molested me... while listening to Long Flight. Thanks, Future Islands. I needed. That... free will is an illusion. You are an amalgamation of outside influences from your past that were entirely beyond your control yet which dictate everything you think, say and do. ... thanks... that was really important for me to understand.... and now, of course, I take the long journey of trying to understand his thou- JK, I'm going to sue him. Biden just did a thingy for people who have been molested. Wow, thanks, Biden. Yeah, this is weird, I know... I just... Wow.. I've listen to this live version of Long Flight a DOZEN times or more... Because it's the best version, obviously... And yeah, it really clicked for me. I loved.. that fat old piece of shit... I loved him at one time... when I was small... even though he screamed at me, even though he was a fat stupid monster.... A child's love... truly knows no bounds... I had accepted him into my heart... isn't that just tragic? And instead of bringing this absolutely intense and awful light down onto me I deflect it onto Beth Thomas... My personal hero, I suppose. Beth Thomas... My personal hero.. I hope she's okay today. I hope she's... okay...

Holy shit....the day I became a Future Islands fan, it was through a short piece on Pitchfork (love'em, hate'em) that had embedded video footage of Inch of Dust...I've not been able to find that story in the P4 website to save my life, but I'll be damned if it wasn't this performance...thank you for sharing....beautiful
