You say Jesus wasn't saying we can't store up for our retirement? That's precisely what he was saying......"store not up for yourselves treasures on earth.........for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Think about it,.....why did Jesus compliment the poor widow who gave all her income away? Saving up for the future was strictly forbidden by the church in the first century. This is something that unbelievers do, not those who aren't taking no thought for tomorrow....may God open your heart to the true gospel friends....
