No Roadmachine SIX for 2024?

I've been using the Park Tool video for years, but i learned a bunch watching this method.

"Performance oriented*, not "orientated" and "Pro-pel*, not "pro-pal". And dropped seatstays do not reduce vibrations! Let alone "significantly"! They are just a currently popular design feature same as too-tight, too-short pant legs on business suits. In a few years, seat stays will be back to being connected to the seat collar, and I bet some marketing department already has a silly claim why they're gonna be "more aero/compliant/stiffer/light-weight" or whatever than the previous dropped stays.

Ive done everything on the video, however mine doesn’t shift up to the largest cog. Any reason why? Im using 11-32 cassette.

Einfach-Kettenrad am Gravelbike is totaler Unsinn. Erst steige ich vom MTB aufs Gravel um, weil mein MTB auf der Straße, bergab und flach geradeaus zu langsam ist, um dann festzustellen, dass es genau an dem einzelnen Kettenblatt und dem Mangel an großen Gängen lag, warum ich nicht flott genug vorwärts gekommen bin. Für eine Übersetzung von 4:1 und größer mit der man orfdentlich Dampf machen kann, braucht man einfach ein zweites Zahnrad vorne.

The best comment I ever heard about the TCR was from a retailer in the UK called PEDALON. Was chatting with the owner and he referred to an old VW to advert. This was where when a salesman was asked about other brands and kept answering “like aGolf” until the customer says “why don’t I just buy a golf?” He said it’s the same with theTCR, every time I get asked about any other brand I keep saying “like a TCR”. If you want the best all round bike, just buy a Giant TCR Advanced, the end.

Flat pedals offer the advantage of repositioning your feet on longer rides, should you begin to feel muscles aches or discomfort which can happen no matter how experienced a rider. A decent flat pedal will distribute the pressure of your foot better due to their shape and design, so you shouldn't have any trouble on long rides. Clipless do provide an efficiency advantage when sprinting and a couple of other specific circumstances, but it's been shown they don't outperform good flat pedals the majority of the time.

Flat pedals come with numerous advantages. Normal shoes (and consequently, normal walking and fewer bits to buy), the ability to have your foot in whatever position you want - and to change the position on longer rides. The idea that you get a huge benefit in terms of power seems to have been pretty much debunked - you get a small improvement if you work hard to learn the technique. Basically, unless you are racing, stick to flat pedals.
