This is a one minute forty-five second intro on how to use the slit lamp. I don't spend much time on when to use it, what to look for... just the practical side of how to turn it on, adjust it and manipulate the light, etc.

Well done ❤️

Great job cameraman 🤣
IF THE SLAB IS JUST BELOW THE POPLITEAL FOSSA,THEN WHEN THE PATIENT FLEXES THE KNEE-WONT IT DIG THE POSTERIOR THIGH ?
GOOD ONE.WELL EXPLAINED SMALL BUT IMPORTANT POINTS .
Good work.... Please , how do I determine the inspiratory pressure to use for the neonate ?
You should start with a PIP of 20 and a PEEP of 5. You can increase the PIP incrementally to a maximum of 30.
Amazing how did u compile all findings in last part?
Call Surgery, yeah.
Youre very lucky indeed ! Glad to hear .im nearly 4months out i smoke .Im ok i was v fit & agile pre accident.Im walking unaided but not as i was before which is v depressing .I hope that i will in time ,i still have numbness on the top of my foot which is most likely nerve damage .Have you done much physio ? Ive 2plates & 14 screws ! !
I’m 6 weeks out and am starting to work on mobility exercises, I have 2 plates and 11 screws and was wondering how your doing now?
@@michaelschnabel5855 Hi I'm doing better thanks my ankle getting stronger wk by wk .Saw my consultant just before Christmas he is happy with my progress too .Swelling is very much reducing now ,even after long periods on my feet (I do still wear a compression sock ) Virtually no pain at all ,just more of an ache at the end of the day.
Amezing 😮
I don’t know what all these doctors are talking about !!?? Im 42,a pack a day smoker,i went in after 9 days and it was day 1 cause i tried to walk and fell. The women doctor finally comes in and says you fractured all 3 bones needed to walk, and wont ever walk without surgery or arthritis, she put lidocane in pressed on my heel (oh lanced the fracture blood balls) put thr middle talus she couldn’t move..I took the splint off 36 days later and am walking fine,(no arthritis).Just the splint in the er,i took b12 and drank a glass of milk a day and puffed on marlboro reds probably 2 packs aday. And im back to my construction job.Putting rods and nails in fracture with no protruding bones i think is bs.
Btw that comment was for you @X SebastianelliX
I’m 6 weeks out from 2 ORIF surgeries. A trimalleolar fracture and a linsfranc injury on left foot. My big toe is numb. Is it normal to still have pain? How long before I get feeling back in some of my ankle and foot?
thank you!
I got into accident and my ankle fractured n my leg dislocated just like, and the doc just the same this that he is doing bt after 2month mine failed.
I had an accident over three years tibia and fibula r broken, bimalaeollar also affected , can this be perfectly fix through surgery?
Good job
I just did this in a hospital in Switzerland. No pain meds, all fingers in traps, lots n lots of weights. For30 minutes ofTHE WORST PAIN EVERRR! Drawn n quartered was what it felt like and I cried like a girl. People in room n hallway were gasping in horror…..
Turned my left wrist into an S skateboarding on vacation in Germany. They did the whole Chinese finger traps and weights for me too. That feeling of the bones creaking and sliding into place is something I’ll never forget
No English 😂
Excellent
😂 this was a really good and creative video. I learned so many medical terms, very informative
Nice
Brilliant tutorial. 👌
Had my trimal surgery 4 months ago, just gotten to the cane stage ☹️mine was a log splitter/ tri. I’m glad they knocked me out, I was almost passing out as is but I did not want to hear any more bones moving around
I agree
Had surgery in Nov 20th 2022 my ankle joint was completely of the joint
Same! Mine happened in April 23. Freaks you out seeing your own foot hanging off. Do you mind me asking, do you still have any numbness in your foot? Mine has certainly improved since the surgery, but there's still a fair bit.
@@karenpaul4940 I don't have any numbness but have the stiffness when on my feet for too long or sitted for long
@@karenpaul4940my feeling is about 80% back from 6mo. Ago from my surgery
I have searched high and low. This is the best educational video on this topic. Thank you so much.
I had surgery and after 6 weeks still haven't been cleared for pt, my foot itself is angled weird, and my 3 smaller toes are still super numb. Is this normal?
That’s crazy mine feel the same way. And I’m on week 7
Perfectly normal. Mine was at the beginning of April, those 3 toes were numb for weeks. 5 months on, only the pinkie has numbness, and that's gradually improving. The foot also seemed a bit misshapen for a while, until I started physio and getting about more. I will say though, bits of my foot, especially where the screws and plates have been put in, are still numb.
Thank you for a nice presentation, looking forward for many more
Have you done an ultra sound on someone who has eye thyroid ?
No surgery?
Learning indeed
MCHAEL ZWANK, what type of Ultrasound test would test if there is POST urine residual in the Urethra tube after the prostate? I'm not sure what type of test this would be called or what its called when the POST residual urine is in the Urethra tube. What is the test called to test the FLAP that opens/closes from the prostate to the Urethra tube?
I am now a better ER doc because of you. Thank you so much from México.
I broke my distal radius and now I likely have a TFCC tear. I had obvious swelling and pain on my ulna side of the wrist. Why didn't the er dr. diagnose?
Which medicine i should use in this problem please reply
Great video...
My doctor had to do a vaginal ultrasound. They found baby and heartbeat. My hcg numbers are rising but not doubling, this is why they had to do a ultrasound.
Thank u. I could understand better
*DO NOT TRUST THE ULTRASOUND* Do a catheter after you pee. Exact , no BS measurement. When I finally demanded and insisted on having a catheter the quantity was 1400 ml. *DO NOT TRUST THE ULTRASOUND* I've been using intermittent catheters for 13 years. No therapy. No medicine. No surgery. No UTIs.
Good basic info, thank you!
I didn't even realize it, but suddenly it hit me, I was actually letting it flow after the movies, it all started after I go'ogled Beck Reznark's guide and felt something changed since, couldn't even remember the last time that happened lol
where can I get the device from
Wonderful.... million of thanks
