This video was one of the first things of Thunderbirds I saw on this site when I was younger aswell as technically the first Godzilla related video since the music is from a Godzilla film. (I didn't know what Godzilla was at the time but I eventually would a few months later) still great video, love the animation used on Thunderbird 1 and the mixture between the original and the underrated 2004 design.

The only XL5 toy I remember was a tiny, soft plastic replica with a cheap rubber band launcher. Merchandisers were really dumb back then.

not so long i watched give or take a million for the first time and i was flabergasted by the fact that show actually took place in 2026, they showed a callander and it showed december 25 2026 there is no truth in this world

Why did the captain of the Tennessee assume that the unknown was a combat ship? That doesn't make any sense - it may have been within striking distance of those cities, but that could just be a coincidence in this case. The United States Navy doesn't initiate combat based on coincidences or assumptions. They would assume it was a civilian experiment, make a report to their superiors, and move on. There would have to be an imminent threat for them to go to battle stations. Something like a defense system activating on the craft. Also, intercepting those torpedoes and then coming in to ram the Navy submarine is an act of war. You just made enemies with the most powerful navy on the planet.

I remember watching these. They were fantastic sequences, just a shame it was old graphics, but it still looks amazing for what you created. Excellent job!

Even after the first I saw it, I'm still captivated Chris by how well you've made it look, especially with the more modernized renderings of much of the classic craft and vehicles, especially the Thunderbirds! The opening Prologue with Shane/Jeff narrating the Present Day was always my favourite... I even liked how you've edited together the Motion Comic adaptions on the Anderson Channel, especially the Planet of Bones one. Godspeed your'e time as a modern Anderson member Chris!

now the year for me was 1962/3 watching this old b/w television set with two channels THe BBC and channel 10 STV one of the early tv programs that i watched all the Gerry Anderson shows have had a big impact on me certainly during the sixties and being at primary school and when UFO started i was now at secondary school i like most of the other comments had a lot of various toys especially the SPV from captain Scarlett

Brilliant animation. One of my favorite science fiction shows from my childhood. Even with the visible strings and wobbly cardboard sets, the instrument panels full of oven knobs and Christmas lights, it was a fun and entertaining show which was very well written for its time. I think Dr. Venus was my first love, with her sexy French accent and blonde locks. I have been rewatching the episodes on CZcams and laughing at Zoonie’s antics. I never realized the the reason Robert said: “On our way ‘ome” had nothing to do with Gerry Anderson’s British accent. It was because the voice synthesizer he used could not pronounce the letter “H!” I have see some great animated episodes and hope they make more. I love the theme song song so

This is great stuff Chris and I particularly love the huge strides that you’ve made with the “Moonbase Alpha Technical Operations Manual”! I too have been modelling all things Space 1999 and have been having the greatest of fun putting it all into a Virtual Reality environment, check out my CZcams channel for details. Do you think there is a chance that one day you might make a Virtual Reality experience of all of your 3D models? The Millennium Falcon in the concept art looked like a CR90 Corellian Corvette and DP20 Rebel Gunship. But later designs considered as a Corellian YT-1300 Light freighter.
