People in this thread that are butt hurt the second presentation called out Netanyahu don’t even realize how unhinged mainstream American perspective is. Even here, a scholar of genocide creates a perception of parity between Israel and Palestine. I suspect she does so out of cowardice, because surely so no well- informed, intelligent person-as she clearly is-can view Hamas, much less Palestinian resistance overall, as equal to or in the same class as the overfunded, bloated Israeli military regime, which controls all resources and borders in Gaza. For every murder or crime committed by Hamas, Israel commits 10 (or more). The death tolls are completely asymmetrical, as is responsibility and the ability to engender peace. Israel and Western powers created this nightmare with 80 years of brutal crimes against humanity. Hamas is the product of occupation, apartheid, and genocide. The Palestinian people are victims of the economic and strategic interests of European and American elites.

Ambassadors must comprehend Axis Forces' 21st-century grand strategy to explain the current events. Japan sent Francis Fukuyama to carry out the WWIII plan as the Policy Planning Staff at the U.S. State Department from 1981 to 1989. Fukuyama is a city in Hiroshima where the U.S. dropped the atomic bomb. In 1989, Fukuyama was the deputy director for European political-military affairs, leading to NATO expansion in central and eastern Europe, i.e., Georgia and Ukraine. Being inside, Fukuyama knew the Soviet Union would collapse due to Brezhnev's 'Era of Economic Stagnation' 1964-1982, so he published 'The End of History' on Feb 1, 1989, resulting in U.S. policy change towards international liberal order, aiming at against Russia and China. The tensions in Europe and Asia are caused by the Axis Forces wanting WWIII in the Atlantic and the Pacific theaters to achieve WWII's failure, expanding their territories. War requires planning; it isn't spontaneous: Ukraine against Russia or Taiwan province and the Philippines against China.

Great lecture. In this brief time, he did not address the failures of US policy regarding Latin America and Iran. These events were carried out "under the radar" of Congress and US voters. The agreed on policy of the voters and most of the government is that Japan, Germany, etc should govern their own affairs. This is quite different than the situation of the Warsaw pact nations during the Cold War, or of Belarus now.

The following doesn't add to the substance of the lecture, but I think it's interesting and the areas overlap a bit with this talk. I once heard a lecture about global warming by John Deutch, former director of the CIA. It was aimed at an audience of physicists. It was sery interesting. What stuck with me was how huge the error bars were at the time. I'm sure they have narrowed enormously since then. In the question period, someone asked how an engineer became head of the CIA. Deutch's answer was that the government brought him in to figure out why experimental particle physics was getting so expensive and what might be done about it. That brought him into government, and got him on the path to leading the CIA.

“It’s always 1938” is such a pathetic argument given America being isolationist was followed by the last 2 world wars. Let’s just conveniently completely forget that history. The actual answer is “America benefits financially from a world that is peaceful” If America doesn’t care then it’s open season. That’s the history. Believe me the rest of the world would prefer that this was not the case because there are always guys like this writing off entire populations because they don’t know anything about countries that aren’t in their TV shows. Name an empire or world power that benefitted long term by looking the other way while one of their key rivals violated a standard they had put in place to be prosperous. In this case invading other countries. In what scenario does that come off as anything other than weakness? Help me understand how an EU that is struggling under energy inflation and having reduced buying power is beneficial to American business? Would reduced buying power make the continent more likely to trade with a China that could offer more for less? How about America telling the allies (that I assume this guy would respect) that their #1 security concern is not worth your time? How has that gone down in historically? There’s so much precedent here that it’s difficult to stop making points. I guess being a Realist means ignoring precedent because you can see into the soul of Putin like George W Bush!

It's truly hard to believe he could have any weight in political system. This claim is so out of reach that I'm not sure how good other points are.
