An explorer at heart, I love to travel around, have all sorts and types of local food wherever I go. And all of this is fuelled by my love for motorcycles. I ride around on my motorbikes whenever I get the time (and money) to do so. And in the process, I make vlogs that give you a glimpse into my life. These vlogs will have a flavour different than what you've experienced elsewhere.

A lot of the OEM Honda accessories aren't available in India. Ab to 2 saal se Africa Twin khud hi available nahi hai India me 😛

It is possible. But you'll have to find the place. You might not get the best of leads online

Haha. Those people come from ADVs. I inherently don't like the ADV ergonomics - even on my Africa, I've removed the windscreen, the suspension is set up relatively stiffer, it's got a lower center of gravity compared to the euro spec, and even my handlebars, brake/gear pedals and levers are all adjusted similar to a naked bike. The desertx is a proper SUV with a really bad winscreen and really tall and soft suspension Cheers ✌🏼

I haven't been on the Coimbatore route. Although both routes should be similar in terms of time taken. TN roads are mostly good

Where did you fill up with gas? Are there gas stations in the Himalayas?
There are pumps in Leh, Karoo, Khalsar, Keylong. I carried 10L extra with me in jerry cans for longer rides without petrol stations en-route. Apart from that, all the small eateries, and all home-stays - even in the remotest of locations - have bottles of petrol that you can buy at a slight premium. You can carry a portable funnel-filter for the fuel if you motorcycle's fuel filter/pump is sensitive.

Yes, beyond Leh - for almost all passes you'd need an 'Inner Line' permit. For Indian nationals, it's easily available online. For foreign nationals, I think there is some paperwork involved - you'll find lots pf travel agents in every nook and cranny of Leh to help out with that.
