Oh how I wish I could connect you to this pen, sadly it was a limited run from @Gouletpens nearly 2 years ago. I HOPE they bring it back because I have a lot of people ask and it is too good not to do another run!

I heard about it on another channel and thought it was such a wonderful idea, and I am so enjoying the 5 year planner myself. It's been wonderful to track this year of change and travel with my family, and I look forward to looking back on it year after year.

Wow that's a LOT! If you find a story structure you like, such as save the cat or the three act structure, you could probably find the plot in the drama somewhere. That's a lot of work you have put forth NOT to try and put it out into the world. That takes dedication. Good on ya even if no one else ever reads it.

I love this ink, it is so subtle but GORGEOUS! Not to mention I am fascinated by Greek mythology, so I had to get a few inks just for the name sake alone! lol

@BooknBroom haha, I also got it for my love of mythology. :D I got the duo. Hades works well for the Love, he can use it at work and people compliment it a lot. I want to get the egyptian Inks next.. purely for the mythology. Egyptian stuff is my #1 but, I don't recall there being a purple.. which is why the Greek won out. xD

One of my characters is an empath, so she's very emotionally sensitive and it hurts me sometimes when she walks through a crowd. Not to mention her story is also pretty complex. Just many nights with a tissue box.

It is made of aluminum, and I have never weighed it, but it has a nice weight to it, feels substantial in my hands and looks AMAZING!!

The first one I got I was NOT careful with AT ALL so it got pretty beat up. I pulled the clip off all the time and stuck it back on with different finishes to try things out so yes, my first Kaweco has some nicks and scratches but all my other ones (I have 12 at this point) have scratches on them. If I use a clip on it, I play with the colors before I put t on and once it is on it STAYS there.

Hi and welcome to the channel. They are just things I made up in photo shop. I took some line art and clipart and made the boarders and just put each month in a different one. I knew I would be using this all year, so I printed off all the months and just keep it in the back of the book. I don't have a template or anything, it was just done on the fly. I am so glad you found this video helpful, that always makes my day/

Right?! I love this pen so much. It is not only STUNNING but it is also such a smooth reliable writer. It fits in the hand perfectly and is always a pleasure to write with.

@@BooknBroom I’ve been pondering this pen for a long time but couldn’t justify the price haha! And then An even more perfect one came out at about 230, and I jumped on it! The Luna from endless pens! I love how the kilk writes, it is absolutely amazing!

They are so stunning and lovely to use. With this one, I am such a purple girl at heart that I couldn't NOT get this beautiful pen.

It is such a lovely color! I am so pleased with the inkvent calendar this year. I don't think there was a single color I DIDN"T like. I have never thought to add other inks or mix colors..I might have to give this a try.

First and foremost I look for a nice smooth writer. Second something that has a nice shape tot he body and it pretty. As far as how to narrow that down now, I am looking for pens that fill in the gaps in my collection. A new or interesting shape that still seems usable, a color I do not have yet that will allow me to use an ink I seldom get to try. But mostly, just something pretty or unique. Thank you so much. I could not have gotten there with out every one of you.

@@BooknBroom I don't know if you're for gold nibs, or what you are willing to spend, but I find the smoothest nibs are SCRIBOs and Pelikans. Pelikans do have some steel nibs, so that brings the price down. Some of the best, smoothest steel nibs are Faber-Castell, but outside of the E-Motion I find them very, very dull. I love smoother than smooth nibs. I like glass smooth, oil slick smooth LOL. I would only caution be selective, because otherwise you end up with a lot of pens. If you have a store or pen meets near you take advantage. Also, there is something called the Pelikan Hub that is in September in multiple cities around the world. Registration is open right now until June 24, I think. Check that out.

@@ironmic9244 I have heard good things about the Pelikan pens. The discord server posted the Hub for September as soon as it went live so I am all signed up for that as well as my daughter who is going to come with me. I love a smooth nib as well, that sounds like EXACTLY my jam. Thank you for all the info, that was very helpful.

THis one also has some wonderful shading properties. No idea how it compares as I have not tried the Noodlers, but I will add it to my list and see if I can find it anywhere.

Agreed! I love the shimmer and the colors in this pen. I can look at it in the light for hours!

The crown is only accessible from a phone, but I have a few people who watch from mobile devices. I was so disappointed about the wax seal stamp being one solid block. It's still really beautiful though, and I can melt out the name and still use the lion. I do find a lot of pen pal kits have paper that either bleeds through to the other side or have some feathering on the edges. On the papers I got in this haul I find it's fine when I use an <F> nib. Or I used fountain pen paper for the letter and add in goodies to spice up the package. Card stalk is thick so no bleeding and I just accept that the ink will not be see in it's best light on it, but still be lovely.

It really is such a lovely ink. I totally understand! I had a few favourites from last year that I got full bottles of. They typically come out with full bottles of the inkvent colors come summer, so if you are really worried about not having enough in the small sample bottle, you could always pick up a big one.

@BooknBroom can't wait! I got Alpine from last year. Hoping to get the Spiced apple and green martini too. Odd colour that I have no idea what I'd use it fir though lol

@@KitSixx Spiced apple was a good one. I got Arctic Blast, Olive swirl and Appletini from last year and Winter Miracle and pink ice from the year before. They are all stunning inks though, you can't really go wrong with the calendars.

@@BooknBroom Oh man! The Olive Swirl! I'm not normally a green girl, but the colours were just marvelous! I only jut started with the year before last with the green Version. but It will surely be a yearly thing going forward. Do you have a favourite purple? I mainly use the Lilac scented ink cant remember who its from though.

Oh no! After reading this I went and checked, the cards do have the artists name on the back with web addresses to her site where the prints can be ordered. Perhaps they have a store front on Amazon? Gosh I hope they got their cut of this.

It's so good I LOVE IT! The pages are so pretty and I am really enjoying using it. I am doing some cut always and folding pages to remove bulk from the outer corners, so I can add bulk back in with paper...no idea if that will help at all. I guess we will find out at the end of the year...hehe

Aww thank you so much for saying that, this comment made my day! I am by no means as talented as some people on the internet but I do so much enjoy paper craft, using my fountain pens and getting my thoughts out. So it just works out so perfectly to do all of those things in the way I journal.

Hey sweetheart! Yeah FWP will do that to you. They have so many wonderful sparkling inks. Oh I know I am in love with ALL the paper and cards I got. They are so magical! YES acrylic stamps are great for that. I can set up the dates and stamp it down in one stamp rather then day, month, date all on different stamps. Oh never worry about making your comment too long, or leaving multiple comments as you are going through a video. I read them all and ALWAYS respond!

Exactly! I am really excited about it being all full up and flipping through all the colors, the crinkling pages and just compare them all.

Right?!? I thought it was clever. I have not found anyone doing it like this so I have no reference, but it's what I am doin, lol. I am a huge fan of data and journals and logs and trackers, so this just kid of makes sense to me. We are going to have a few ink swaps this year on the discord server, so hopefully I will get to fill it in more through out the year. Oh yes, adventuring is a lovely ink, it is so soft with a gorgeous shimmer. Velvet ballet is also a really lovely red, and all the other properties just hit with a subtle pop. Can't go wrong with either...or both!

Yeah that's because I am an old reader. BookTok seems to focus only on new fantasy and ignore the books that inspired those authors. Which is such a shame because there are some AMAZING stories out there that seem to get no love at all.

Oh I am glad you are enjoying the series! I think they are such stunning editions and I was surprised the videos are not doing as well as I expected. BUT, they are sooo much more beautiful then I even anticipated. I think I will see it through till at least the end of the year...and maybe longer. Now that I knwo there is an audience for these I will keep bring them out every other month so you can enjoying all the pretties till you get off the wait list. It took me a YEAR to get an email invitation and you only get about a week to accept before they go to the next person. The one I have is the YA AND Adult book only box and I am so pleased with it.
