A typical cylinder block is 16 inches long. I glued two together so height is around 32 inches but factor in that I dug about an inch or two and placed the blocks. So approximately 30 inches high. Hope this helps.💕

@ThaStonedGardner the post are just lying within the holes. That way we can remove them to provide access to the yard whenever we need.

Update. Did this about 6 months ago. ZERO issues, never fell down, nada. I did put some glue between each cinder block and also dug the base down maybe only 1". Simple and easy. My gf and I put it up in less than an hour after having all items ready. Total cost under $200 and made my front yard look SOOO much better. Thank you

I placed a piece of cardboard underneath the cinder blocks before pouring in the concrete. You can then tear that off or simply keep the card board affixed as is. The 60 pounds is one bag of Quikkrete. I hope all works out well. TFW.💕💕

@@LoverUvBeauty I have a concrete patio...I might try to secure it to my patio using the construction adhesive. The neighbors on my left have 2 barking dogs...and I have a nosy neighbor on my right. I hope this works to create privacy...lol
