in my opinion, one of the best uses of humor in the infinity saga was during Thor 2. When Thor, Loki, and Jane are escaping Asgard in the dark elf ship, Loki is constantly making comments to Thor like a backseat driver including "Well done. You've just decapitated your grandfather," or Loki: "Now they're firing at us," Thor: "Yeah, thank you for the commentary Loki, it's not at all distracting." It's funny because it shows their brotherly dynamic with the annoying younger sibling, plus the great acting from Hiddleston and Hemsworth. With some exceptions, most of the phase 4 humor isn't very funny.

Personally I actually think Thor was already ruined in Thor Ragnarok. When did he become the clown? Thor was funny because he was the straight man and others were funny around him, it makes literally no sense for him to be the clown himself. Sure, he might've become that, but we saw just about no development between Age of Ultron and Ragnarok. The complete shift in character came out of literally no where. No, it came straight out of Taika's ass.

Please, do NOT come in here complaining about ANY of this. Continue to mindlessly comsume this media as you have, encouraging these lazy assholes to pump out a million more movies, tv spinoffs, more tv spinoffs and so on and so on. The same people criticizing this crap are the same ones in the comments section blowing smoke up it's ass, the same people that as soon as the trailer drops you're in that comments section performing fellatio

I love this movie, it forces you to look at you own humanity in the context of the whole world and not the individual. Humans aren't the only species on this planet and we keep forgetting that.

While I appreciate the video, to me this is more of a summary of the three movies rather than a character analysis of Caesar, and tbh the title comes off a bit click-baity. Thanks for your hard work, nonethless.

I remember seeing trailers and marketing that made it seem like a parody of fantasy tales, kinda like Shrek, and it made me roll my eyes 'cause that's overdone 🙄 But then one day I decided to watch it and it became my favourite Pixar movie. Crisp Rat shouldn't have voiced Barley tho 😒

Ngl I didn't even really think of Starlord shooting his dad as a joke, I thought of him just unleashing his rage at him for what he did, not wanting to hear anything and just wanting to kill him.

What a great breakdown of this phenomenal and complex character, I can definitely say he is one of my favorites in films! One of the aspects I really love is capturing the biology of the great apes (not including humans) with their fascinating facial expressions and emotional behaviors although over emphasized in the great lore of the film it reveals a deep connection with humans!

I find it criminal that Andy Serkis has never won an Oscar or even a nomination.

Imo, Ceasar is the best representation of a Gigachad in it's pure form - and not just as another random Internet buzzword to toss around, I mean as in a male character that has some of the best written character development and fits the definition. Ceasar's overarching goal is to protect and care for his fellow apes he leads and his family, and though he's not infallible, he still grows from his experiences and makes decisions where his intentions are to the welfare of his fellow apes and family. He, like many people have had to go through and many similar well-written characters has in Hero's Journey storytelling, he has a momentary fall from grace and ends up rising above it by the end of his life. Ceasar may be a chimpanzee that's been GMO'd and hyper-intelligent, but he's also a well-crafted male lead for a story and it shows little surprise why the apes would go on to aspire to be like him (and we see in Kingdom how some aspirations can be twisted around to become nefarious).

I always thought this movie was soooo boring as a kid I gotta give it another shot and see if I still feel the same way

A movie should have SOME comedy, but garbage like "love and thunder" where apparently the whole movie was made to be a joke and it takes heroic epics and tries to make them "the three stooges" dumber cousins., as for Dr hulk that's understandable as you have a highly paid actor spending most of his time screaming/ roaring.

Tron Legacy has been one of my favorite films since it came out when I was very very young, and I’ve always felt that no one really talked about it. I wanna say it’s “poor writing” but ppl eat up marvel movies with pretty images but abysmal writing so it’s definitely not that. I love seeing ppl appreciate the film for what it is, even with its imperfections. The score by Daft Punk is easily THE BEST film score ever imo
