So helpful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing.. thank you for sharing tips..
I just got accepted into a program but idk … I wanted to get a head start on what to expect
Congratulations! Just relax and enjoy your time before the grind of school. Be prepared for a lot of volume (knowledge) and be okay with finding different study groups! 😊
Amazing personal statement very informative I have a question that I done my associate degree now i want to apply for physical therapy so can I mentioned my cardiac associate degree in my personal statement or not
Thanks for the video. A couple things in your personal statement stuck out to me with the use of descriptive verbs and explanation of how your experience impacted your career choices, however, it sounded like a pre-PT student’s basic personal statement that the school staff has probably heard over and over.
Mam best tool for npte??
Thank you for sharing your experience. Where can I buy the score builders PT exam book?
Im a licensed PT in Philippines but I need my license in USA, so i dont really know if american exams are much harder
very late reply only saw this as of now, according to 3 PTs ik from the Philippines they said it was about the same but Philippine exam was harder? since npte is only 250 questions
Are you able to give us an estimate of your salary? I’m curious on what pt salary could look like
It will depend on where you’re located in the country and what setting you work in. I’m in outpatient ortho and make >$95k/yr.
@@ClinicalSprinkles what state are you in?
Oregon
@@ClinicalSprinkles that’s great pay for an Oregon pt! Where did you go for undergrad and grad?

These are all awesome questions! But how many questions is too many? Because I have 10 on my list..lol I don't want to be that interviewee, but I need to know some things before I sign on!

Did you applied through UCAS?? I copied some of the description words you used to describe PT as a role and I’m scared that it will get flagged by the UCAS system

Where did you buy Current Concept?

Great tip! I really appreciate your channel. Also I love your top! Do you know where you got it?
Sister, how about Ultrasound Portable for Physicaltherapy ? Maybe you can making some Video about Ultrasound Portbale, and teached to viewer on youtube. i think thats worth it for youre subscriber.
This video is so good! Thank you for the advice 💕
Thank you for the support!
Even seeing this over a year later. Thank you for the video.
You've got it!!! OCS Field Guide Podcast is very helpful and to the point.
WOW!!! I am speechless!!! What an amazing personal statement!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story!!!!
Happy to!
Thank you so so so so SO much for making this video!! I am in the process of applying to DPT schools now and I probably average about 10 mental breakdowns a day because of it (not kidding lol), and your video gave me so much confidence and reassurance about writing my personal statement! I have a boatload of observation and work experience as a rehab tech/shadowing student but unfortunately, my GPA is not the best. So hearing that you were still given the opportunity to go to interviews even though your GPA wasn't the best really put my mind at ease! (at least a little bit lol). I am going to watch your personal statement video next, but I was wondering if by chance you wouldn't mind sharing what your GPA was??? If not I completely understand!!! Thank you so so so so so much again for your amazing and inspirational video!!!!! Words can't even begin to describe how much I appreciate it! - XOXO, A stressed pre-DPT student :)

Thank you dear It was a great video
Thank you!
would it be weird if I followed my physical therapist on Instagram?
Depends on the type of relationship you have!
Do you know what rough percentage the 500 score equivocates to? For example, the NPTE requires 600 which is roughly 70-76%; what is the equivalent in OCS?
I tried to find that information online and could not find it either.
@@ClinicalSprinkles thanks anyhow!
Definitely helped. I started doing Final Frontier...but I am also doing Scorebuilders. how many hours a day did you study...would you say 10-15 pages a day is a lot of review? Right now I am doing FF assigned readings per day and enterning into my final month, I am trying to use the book the way you had it broken down (10-15 pages/day)
10-15 doesn't sound like a lot but it is. Try to keep pace and don't try to go too fast otherwise you may compromise retention.
Hi Pauline, yes thats a very valid scenario. However, as a health proffessional we all should understand by the end of the day its not about us, its about patient. If patient is not getting better it is advisable to change the tx plan or discuss with your colleagues sometimes others may know something which we dont. Peace 🙏🙏. Please keep making more videos, it does help.
What was your GPA when you applied if you don't mind me asking?
I use text blaze which is a google chrome extension that you can create custom templates/shortcuts to make mine go faster. It has been so helpful!
Thank you for sharing
Do you have any tips for a new pta?
This may be a stupid question, but was does CAT stand for?
Clinically appraised topics.
@@ClinicalSprinkles Thank you!!
Awesome video, background music is a lil loud.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll turn it down a little more next time!
I am currently a 2nd year DPT student, and just wanted to pop in and say thank you. Recently, I have learned so much from your postings on Instagram and your CZcams channel that I know will help me become a better PT. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge. You are a shining light this world needs more of!
That means SO SO much to me!! Thank you!!! My DMs are always open if you're wanting to see more of a specific topic covered.
They call me the back hammer at work
I can imagine why!!
Would love a video on business casual outfits for outpatient ortho- aka stuff that looks nice that you can actually move in!!
What are the content prompts that you have listed? Are those the questions at the end of each section?
Correct.
@@ClinicalSprinkles Thank you!
The reusing that assessment sentence 👌🏾 so helpful
It's a game changer
The class above us just took the exam and studied with NPTE Final Frontier, first time our program saw a 100% pass rate, I'll stick with them.
I agree, NPTEFF is the only way to go.

ughhhh documentation was literally the bane of my existence on clinicals. good to know i'm not the only one!
It really took me SO long to get the hang of it. I would stay late at work that I would meet the custodian! And THEN bring more home.
@@ClinicalSprinkles 9 months late to this haha but I'm so glad to know I wasn't the only one! I finished OT clinicals in February and my CI would constantly put me down for taking too long to finish documentation. She would stay late with me since she had to sign off on my notes and I never felt like I could get to the level she wanted. For the longest time I felt like there was something wrong with me; it was a terrible feeling. It's tough out there being a student! Thank you for this video :)
