In 2020 I graduated with my doctorate in musical arts degree with an emphasis in piano performance! This channel originally served as part of my dissertation project/essay. Now it’s more of a creative outlet for me and my little family!

PS For online lessons, you don’t really need such a nice microphone. There are some additional cords and recording devices that I use for supplemental teaching videos. I’ll try to make a video addressing all of this soon.
Maybe ask Dr. Williams if her Airturn duo pedal is on ‘changing mode’ mode? this could have been the reason why her pedal doesn’t appear to work. check this video on min 3 czcams.com/video/EkqAxepgrQY/video.html

Allysia is Amazing Musician Teacher <3 In her videos taught "Melody " #1 by Schmann superbly , then lead me to the best Interpretation of Opus 68 Scenes from Childhood. Edited by V. Merzhanov .Moscow 2005 is my edition. Now I have 5 favourite songs to add to my study all because of Allysia 's videos . Good Luck Verina Chen. Do you use Forscore or any of these bluetooth pedal page turners? What do you think of them? Do you have a preference?
Hi, I use forScore (I am an expert in this app) and I have both PageFlip Firefly and AirTurn PEDpro Bluetooth pedals. I like them both. Both have their advantages. But I think that PageFlip Firefly is the best pedal for me for today. What do I think about Bluetooth pedals? They're game changers. They completely changed my life in this regard. Absolutely must-have devices. I was surprised that you didn't know what foot such a pedal should be intended for, and where it should be placed, if we are talking about pianists. In my opinion, pianists shouldn't even have questions about this. Of course on the left from the piano's pedals (not in front, my goodness! :).
Hi Oleg! Thank you for your expert feedback! YES! We VERY quickly realized that the PageFlip and AirTurn duos should both be placed to the left of the pedals. Did you check out our recital video playing Grieg's arrangement of Mozart's K545 and Terashima's transcription of Prokofiev Symphony no.1? In those videos you can see that we finally mastered the page turners. :) It seems like these devices are being used more often in the piano performance world. I hadn't ever been introduced to them until recently. Is there a reason you prefer the PageFlip Firefly over the AirTurn duo? I've heard many differing opinions on the two.

Personally I’ve noticed that the commute is the most tolerable between 3 and 4 am. Absolutely no traffic

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: This is an excellent performance. The dynamic changes are, my opinion, extremely musical. I compare this very favorably with the definitive pianistic interpretation by Sviatoslav Richter, recorded live in 1979, in France, at the Château de Marcilly-Sur-Maulne (Tours Festival), on EMI. This performance by Verina Chen is outstanding, and is better than any of the other recorded performances I have listened to, with the possible exception of that by Sviatoslav Richter himself.
