They are resin prints rather than FDM, so that is pretty much as they come off the printer.

@@alfi386 Hi there, it is a 5.5" figure from the old British TV series Primeval. They are not made anymore but can be found on UK eBay. The right leg was removed at the knee.

@@westrayskiffman Hi Phil, this one is quite a way from stock. It has WPL straight axles fitted in place of the MN portals - this requires swapping to WPL trusses also. My other one is swapped to MN straight axles. The MN axles are wider than the WPL ones. This truck has the wide version of my 3D printed wheel design, but the MN version has to use a more stock width wheel. Even then the track width is still too wide. To get the wheels you would have to either print them yourself or find someone locally who would print them for you. The files are linked in the video description along with some other details of the build.

These are the Stock version, not the narrower version. When I drew and named the narrow version I don't know I was going to create this one. Narrow is only 1mm different to the original file. For this look it is the Stock file you want.

@@smallscaleadventures And there is also a version "stock v2" and it is much narrower than the other two. Use Version 2 or just wide version 1?

@@smallscaleadventures Great, I understand you. And how did you remove the pillar-like supports (which are on the stock V2 version)?

@@lexxanplay I resin print, so the thin section of those supports just break off. Its a hang over from when i used to design my prints to print flat off the back of the wheel.

They are the spot lights from a WPL C74. I cut the original brackets off and bolted them through the grill. Unfortunately they could not be illuminated mounted in this way, but I never bother with lights on my rigs anyway so it's no bother to me.

Bent and soldered from brass rod.

Hi there, pretty sure they were MK2 Golf coil overs I used. The mounting holes in the lower two bolt fixings needed slotting to fit the Mazda knuckle.

Yeah, could have been, maybe even a pre-production version, there were some changes prior to the main run but I can't remember what they were. Sorry.

I got the one with bearings and the studs sits loosely inside and the gears rattles, the other one is an identical replica to the plastic one, blows my mind since you have metal on metal contact lol, plastic is self lubricating but aluminum is not 😂

Cheers man, my collection is a lot less diverse than yours so there's always plenty of cross compatibility. I knew I had to have these bits of 70's British tin in it when they appeared.

They would probably perform better on more technical rocky terrain as stock, they would just look a lot less good doing so. These aren't really built for that sort of thing.

It's a bit too small for that unfortunately but I know there are a few folk talking about using 1/24 or 1/18 crawler parts to build an off roader.
