It was really a great event with many participants from all over Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Brunei and Singapore. It was an eventful day out in Ubin Kelong. We had a good fight with the fish. I had upgrade my Antares DC MD with a drag clicker and had assemble it wrong thus causing no drag at all. I had to use my thumb as a drag and struggling to reel in. We missed a lot of fish.

We are back at ECP to hunt for the monster fish. Small fishes are super active and it finishes our Live Prawn quickly.

Bang nak tanya 2 section kayak okay tak?
Saya dulu pakai Yak2Go modular tandem kayak. 3 sections. Boleh join 2 sections utk seorang atau 3 sections jadi 2 orang. Tebal dan Very stable. But very heavy. Satu section kalau tak silap 18kg. Kalau kali 2 atau 3 mmg berat nak2 bila time balik air surut nak tarik kayak dgn full equipment. Utk 2 sections not so bad lah tapi still heavy compared to dgn kayak biasa.
Do you anchor down when ur quite far from shore? Like how deep isit ah?
We don’t anchor. We usually drift while scanning for fish. We do move around certain spots.
Singapore water not too deep. We usually fish between 2 to 8m.

Punggol spot is nearer for grouper. For MJ spot Changi CP1, go left towards the yacht berthing area to the rocky area.

Hi, like your videos, I too have an Hobie itrek 9 and was wondering if you could do a video on your pvc pipe storage/track attachment to add accessories to kayak. It looks like a clever attachment but wondering how it’s fastened to kayak.

Salam brother, if you going there again, don't go inside the khatib bongsu. Somehow big eating fishes won't go inside. try staying around the mouth of the entrance or nearby the mouth to the mangrove. caught mj, barracuda and barramundi there. probably because baitfishes dont go inside. also if you from wak hassan, the first mangrove before khatib bongsu is better but still more productive at the mouth of the mangrove.
