Omg it's cammed out crazy sounds awesome
That thing sounds amazing!!!
Sounds mean!
Im looking to build something similar, what'd you all do to it?
pretty much everything that could be done. this engine isnt nearly as strong as the one i run now tho. new engine now has balanced crank, billet rods and pistons. roller cam roller lifters, roller rockers heavy duty valve springs, bigger valves titanium. bench flowed heads. billet flywheel. billet intakes, was running mikuni now going to tillitson. running on alcohol.
What fuel are you using ?
methanol or also called alcohol.
Sounds like a v8, which Kohler models are v-twins by the way?
Sounds and looks bad mf ass bro.
What’s the clutch
centrifugal
Brother please tell me you got a video of the build. I need inspiration 😂😂
check out my other video it goes over my new build which is mucchhhh better then this lol its rocking a even more powerfull engine then this.
@jasperjansen100 what stuff did you do to the motor? I could tell u got stock flywheel but I assume you know it could blow if revving to high
@@RevHeadz95 it has a billet flywheel on there. engine had billet internals flowed heads roller rockers and cam.
How do you get your mowers to sound like that?
Suena hermoso
I need
That shit sounds fire
What kind of Kohler Motor is That?
kohler command, this was a small block its now has a big bore.
@@jasperjansen100oh nice, where do you get your parts? I want to build one but I have no idea where to get parts from
@@caden8479 midwest super cub is a big one that makes parts for these kohler. EC carburetor also sells allot of parts.
@@jasperjansen100 oh nice, thanks!
Nice
Does the exhaust not cause power loss in front of the carbs when moving?
it wasnt very economical but it had so much power it didnt really matter to much. chassi couldnt handle the power, we have since build a new chassi and it handles the power much better
Just picked up a 21horse Kawasaki v twin for 150 bucks, no problems with it at all hell of a deal, imma build a crazy go cart lol
How did you do your steering? Is it stock?!
check out our other video kinda shows the steering in my new build
You live in Ontario cool my parents use to own a track called North bay speedway when we was stationed there cause dad was in United States airforce. Track was gonna close small 1/4 mile asphalt bull rung and dad bought the track and i started racing there when i was 9 in a 4 cylinder mustang ministock against my mom it was awsome owning a track unlimited practice time and it paid off when we moved to the states and i continued racing.
Get up on that big ol buss wheel man lol. Jkjk looking good is this the forst run of it
Whats the parts you used to build this beast?
Check out my latest video kinda goes trough it in small detail.
That plain straight pipe is making it sound like that??
So im kinda new to this whole engine and mower thing how do you swap it to achohol?
Damn that sounds mean
Damn
Really Nice Idle Sound.. Do you live on a farm Best regards J.
Nice throttle respons.. What a Awesome Idle can it runs a bit Slower at Idle It Sounds so much Better.... What Kind of farm do you live on and how many animals on the farm Best regards J.
カッコよ~😊
Pretty amazing machinery
Yea tahts about as low as shes gonna go if its really that twacked out
Absolutely not a mower, nothing mower about it.
where did you by the valve springs ?
i heard a turbo ?
Nice chop... sounds fabulous
Hi so i have a question so the next lawn mower i build im planning on using a kohler v twin im not gonna go crazy with the mods probably just a mikuni carburetor and billet rods but i was wondering if the stock cast iron flywheel would still hold up with the governor delete or do i have to get a billet flywheel
i do not know if they will hold. i also havent seen one fly apart yet. thing is tho if it does are you ready to eat pieces of flywheel lol. my opinion if your gunna do billet rods do a billet flywheel. the stock kohler rods can take some abuse so maybe invest in a flywheel first.
@jasperjansen100 okay thanks I was just wondering since it's really expensive getting both
How many parts did you have to replace to make it sound like that? Also, you a kohler guy?
everything but the crank pretty much lol.
How did you add brakes?
has rear hydraulic brake on the live axle, also has small go kart front brakes
@@jasperjansen100 thank you this will help me
That's dope asf
Front engine rear wheel drive?
yes
Sounds just like lightning McQueen
It sounds like lightning McQueen Fr I need and engine like that one
Reminds me of Crash Team Racing.
Any way that I could email, or chat online with you about your engine builds? I’m finishing up my first racing mower and want to spend alot on my Kohler engines, but the companies selling parts for them say they don’t want to sell the parts to me if it’s not for tractor pulling cause the metal they use can’t stand heat. Lakota, Vogel both said that. Mwsc tried to tell me horizontal parts don’t fit verticals, which is bull shit too. Anyways please respond to the comment of how these engines hold up and if there is some way I could pick your brain. I have 3 2002 Kohlers that are begging to be turned into monsters.
You gotta talk to me about this engine build. I have 3 Kohler commands one running, the other 2 were blown and can be rebored. Mwsc says that their parts aren’t meant for racing, or vertical engine builds only tractor pulling. Please respond to this comment so I can ask you more about how this performed.
hey so the pistons and rods they sell are good for racing. camshaft is a different thing tho. youll need a racing camshaft, due to the fact for pulling they use a bit different platform of camshaft. go to arc racing and get the billet flywheel there its what i run and it works well. then im running the billet rods and pistons from MWSC. i run a stock crank and if you want to get fancy like i did, have the crank balanced with the rods and pistons. i still have a camshaft and a set of well flowed oringed heads for sale im willing to sell. i have some other stuff to. my name on facebook is jasper jansen in canada if you want to private message me.
@@jasperjansen100 request sent. Also sent messages.
What size tires are you running
16 hoosiers
where do you get motor parts from?
most parts are from mid west super cub. ARC racing and vogel manufacturing
WHY IT SOUNDS LIKE A V8😂😂😂
@jasperjanson100. What size of carbs are those.
@jasperjansen100
those where 34mm carburetors. @@lukeflemingfleming
That actually made me laugh
Not talking crap I just think it's funny bc the cam chop and fast acceleration
@jasperjansen100 What Kohler Engine did you use to make your Purple Mower? Tryna make a Souped up Derby mower and I need Speed.
kohler engine. command 18hp vtwin.
