How to clean your A/C unit for free or cheap! FAST & EASY!
Welcome back to another DIY! In this video, I’m going to show you how to clean your own A/C unit for free or cheap! The bottle brush I used in the video is no longer carried at Walmart, but you can use items you already have such as a broom, old baby bottle brush, vacuum, home duster, or rag. Just make sure to not use anything that might damage the semi-delicate aluminum coils on the A/C unit!

Hopefully this will save mine. I bought a amazing throw off of amazon for 100 bucks. After one wash it became all matted and nappy. I washed in cold water on delicate and low heat in the dryer, and still no luck!! 😢

Hi! It’s called a detangling brush. They used to sell them at Dollar Tree for $1.25, but if you can’t find them there, try Walmart, Target, or Amazon, they will just be a little more expensive. Thanks for watching!

I want mine to retain the clumped look after cleaning, and not be smooth brushed out. Any ideas how I can achieve this?
Hi! Just don’t brush it or brush it only a little on the surface, but not all the way down into the fur!

I know how to restore faux fur Already Without the tutorial but I watched the tutorial in case if I did it right but I used Shampoo and I hairbrush that was never used But you used to detangler brush I hope that's okay So 1st I just put my pillow in the sink I washed it really good I put some shampoo and I washed it really good after that I got towels And I dried it And I put it in my room And brushed it and after that I'm drying it right now how long does it take? Because my pillow wasn't even that fluffy and now I hope god that it's now fluffier 🙏🏻
Hello! You could probably put it in the dryer for no more than five minutes and that might help make it fluffier, but no longer than that because the heat might fry the fur. If just air drying, it could take up to a day for it to completely dry and then you could detangle it and fluff it up with a brush. I hope that helps! Good luck!

what do you do on ceramic floors when you can't drill through?
Great question! If the new vent doesn’t fit tightly in the hole, you could glue it down on the tile with E6000 glue or Liquid Nail. You could also try using heavy duty Velcro underneath the vent to adhere it to the tile, but it might not make it sit flush with the tile. It just depends on the style of vent you have and how thick your Velcro is. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!!

Thank you for making this video, I will say I did buy one of those wire bristle dog brushes the same one you recommended and it DOES pull out a lot of hair so I’m going to try and get a detangler brush.

I wouldn’t want a toe to get caught on those screws. Why wouldn’t you drill through the vent to screw it down properly?
Surprisingly, none of my kids have ever stumped their toes on the screws! You’re right that it would be best to drill the screw all the way through the vent, but the reason I didn’t was because there is no wood underneath that area to attach the screw to, unfortunately. You could definitely cover the screws with a small piece of carpet or small piece of sticky back foam/cushion, or something like that! Thanks for commenting!
