Did you use the existing sensor wires from the loom and then just ground out the 2nd pin?

Most people encounter heavy steering because the can bus isn't connected no torque input it just runs in highway mode , you'll notice heavy steering when you really push quick lock to lock .

Getting it done!
You’ve wired the pump up wrong. There’s a way to turn it on immediately. There’s 2 wires, black and white/blue. White/blue is trigger. Give the the black a constant 12v and white/blue switched 12v and it’ll turn on straight away. Instead of the 10 second power up.
Do you mean give it direct battery signal, and ignition signal, or something else? I'm about to do this as soon as the pump arrives
might be better for the pump to power up slowly. gentleness with hardware is always rewarded and vs versa
@@blackterminal The rapid spool up is the intended design for the pump when it is factory wired in the Astra, so it can handle it fine The slow spool up is a glitch that has been discovered only following people retrofitting them in to other cars

If you put some oil on the pipe it will pull easier and not mare the metal.

They came with the bender he said it came with 4 dies. Vevor sells this with 4 dies for 8 to 900$

Waz. slide a hose over the chain. rubber or silicone. it will stop your metal on metal contact.
Couldn’t you shorten the damper body and get the same result (albeit with an increased risk of tyre bumping into the wheel arch)
