Thanks for posting ! ⚡
👏👏👏
I had this cassette in '94-'95. Great Band. 💯 Frogpond has a new album out and are playing a Live Gig in KCMO on 09/27/23.
First comment! Party!
This song rocks!!!
Whoa. So glad this exits. I miss the Woolards.
Thanks for uploading this! I lost my CD sometime ago. Used to see these guys all the time in Lawrence and miss them terribly
No problem. Trying to keep the rock alive! Cheers
Just wanted to thank you as torsak’s son that you put these albums on CZcams you are an absolute legend
No problem! They were playing at a biker bar in North Lawrence (can't remember the name) when I got the CDs sometime in the aughts
Our first recording as a band with the incredible Maggie Follmer on bass. The other half of the recording is the show in NJ which I sucked. I played horribly. Sorry Paul.
Where can I buy this album on CD?
Not sure. I'll make a discogs page for it sometime today for ya
@@brianplowe7529 thanks for getting back to me.
I used to work with him at Wheatfield’s Bakery. Had no idea he was this good 😮
Sounds like a fever dream... oh wait it was
I went to middle and high school around Lawrence in the 90's. 105.9 the Lazer. I miss these guys. Fucking great album.
Saw them open up for The Wallflowers at the Bottleneck. Seems like many many years ago. Missing that mid-90s Lawrence sound.
This record is incredible! Where can I get more On Vibrato?
No idea. Played with them at the Jackpot around 2005ish? I think they were from out of town. Colorado maybe?
@@brianplowe7529 crazy town. Lovely record, thanks for uploading
Great job ladies I didn't know this existed until recently and glad I got a chance to hear it.
Why am I so late 🤦♂️. Sooooooooo awesome 🤙

Holy shit
I love Frogpond, they were definitely favorite local band during that time. Still have both of their CD's and still listen. Love this.
Awesome epic!!!
Seen this band live in Houston, TX they opened for Bowel. At the white swan. Killer fkn show!!! They killed it epic show!!!
this is like 94-95 day on the hill vibes! good stuff b lowe
I think I went to 1997? day on the hill. Soul Coughing was there. Hope all is well Mr. Yellowbird!
randomly decided to search for this for the first time. Happy to see it up.
Dan D. Yes I uploaded parts 2-4 as well. Pretty bad sound quality, there's a skip in Karma Police. Came from an ancient CD-R my friend Scott made me. Never had a computer til years later, my friends would burn me stuff off of probably Napster. We went to the Cleveland show of this tour, which was amazing. Enjoy, cheers.
While I can’t say I like any of these more than the originals, this is an absolutely beautiful tribute to one of my favorite albums. Is Death of the King meant to have all that staticy reverb is that a flub and a clean version exists?
Hmmm, might just be my copy. If I remember correctly this was one of those cd-rs with the paper label pasted on...
I agree
I still have a physical copy of this! Makes me miss back in those days.
I was in this band and recorded this trainwreck haha, how did you get a copy? I'm flattered you uploaded it though!
Joe Wilson had the CD and gave it to me.
@@brianplowe7529 awesome, well thanks for uploading
@@joshsauer951 no problem sir
16:30 is where the video turns up the music and rocks.....Stick forever....Mark Smirl is a genius
Classic
Were u aware of them when they first came out? I was late to the game.
Cant find albums anywhere
This is faster than the version I have... both fuckin rip, but I'm digging this!
Sooo good
This and Part 2 were both very much appreciated. Some of the best music ever.
Wow. What a treasure! I would love to find this tape again! A buddy was living in Kansas City in the early 90s, and we saw Frogpond perform at a local club. What a great show it was! Just a magical chemistry that translated to the crowd! Thank you for sharing!!
SO MUCH YES!!!!!!!! Danger bob for life.
I love you...thank you for putting this up!!!!.... all of it!!!!!!woo!!!
I saw this band. In KC. Hiidii used to be at Penny Lane.
AWSOME!!! I miss this album so much
I was a fan back in the day as an old guy. Miss them a lot. This EP reminds me a lot of something like Nirvana's Bleach. A little raw and cool. Yeah, this is great music, and a great band. Thanks for sharing this.
Beginners Only are fantastic! Does anyone out there know about them??
Adam Boc (lead vocals and guitar) and Paul Cerqua (bass and vocals) of Chelmsford MA were the two principals of Beginners Only. Check out the fine 2011 album Beginners Only Songs by Ad Boc and Paul Cerqua. (Bonus: the opening track on None Whatsoever, Don't Be Yourself, was also a Beginners Only song. Miranda Warning was Adam's next band.)
