Louis Lowendall was a prolific luthier who bought and sold instruments in Germany and the United States in the late 1800/early 1900s. Many of his instruments were modeled after that of Stradivarius and Guarneri and produce an unusually powerful sound.
This violin is no exception, it's big and bold and easy to play!
