The other thing about this is that I don’t think I want to come home after work and unwind with my work. Hahahahahahaha beeing a working pianist. Yea. Sometimes I might play it in the evening but actually unwinding with it is not to good for a pianist cause if you are working the least thing you want to do is think about work when you are trying to unwind and get to bed. We need our rest so we can reset and get up and do it again. I try not to listen or play before i go to sleep. I don’t necessarly want to hear work before i go to bed. Just like the bus driver. The least they want to do is drive again when they have been driving all day for work. Bus drivers need that break as well from people showing passes and tickets and money to operating a huge bus. Yes. They have to get home from the bus garage but they really don’t want to have to drive any more unless they really want to well the same thing for us a working pianists. Now for a hobby pianist maybe so but for us that are at work with it and this is our job,,,,,,, well, kind of not good to take your work home basically. You don’t want to bee thinking about your job before having to get to bed. It just doesn’t make for a good night and then you feel like crap the next day cause you didn’t sleep cause you were thinking about work.
