My great grandmother and my grandfather were born there and i was taken there as a child to see my grandfathers birth place which was Church Rd but have never been able to find it on any pics

First time visit on Friday 17/06/22 and what a beautiful place. People moan about the price to get in but it is well worth it. Definitely going again when in the area.

I used to love visiting Prestatyn especially the High Street area. Sadly now it seems its becoming more in vogue for the younger generation, too many retail parks and soulless new buildings have replaced the little characteristic places, even Prestatyn market has gone now to make way for a totally unnecessary Home Bargain. The old library with the beautiful tree overhanging the bench where it was great to sit in the shade during summer, also gone and for what, 14 pointless bland flats. I will always hold the town dear, visited there for 35 years now but it's not the Prestatyn I grew up knowing

Loved going to Rhyl as a kid with my Nan, fair ground , donkey rides, amusement arcades, kids outdoor swimming pools, kids bicycles in a car park round and round you would go, hundreds of people on the beach the smell of hotdogs and candy floss, great times had through the eyes of a child, driven through there not long ago what I seen wasn’t what I remember maybe it was all a dream,

Great video. I live in Australia now, but I was born in Cardigan in 1950 and lived there until our family moved to England in 1956. I've been back there seven times between 2004 and 2017. My parents, brother and generations of my mother's family are buried in the cemetery at Netpool. My first year at school was spent there and I can remember sitting on that cannon directly outside the Guild Hall when my mother took me into the town. Just before we left, F.W. Woolworths had just opened a new store (now 'The Original Factory Shop') and remained open until around 2009. Thanks for sharing. Hope I get back there again.

Nice video! At 3:21 in the video, walk up the street on the right hand side for another 60 seconds, and Charles Darwin's house is right there on the right.

The Sea, the beaches, the harbour and few buildings downtown looks pretty. The rest of town you can forget. I will for shure not visit...
