Hello what kind of glue you use. Thank you
After doing a few of these birdbaths, I've found that Gorilla Glue or E6000 work the best.
Do you sell your seeds. I would love to have a few to get started.
I don't have any moonflower seeds right now. I can send you some at the end of the season. Just email me your address.
Delicious! Thank you!
Any time!
This is fantastic, thank you!
You're very welcome!
Yes! I get these dudes at my feeder all the time.
What a pretty bird bath, your flowers are beautiful
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing this, i shall try the bottle idea! The squirrel baffle i had before worked but it cost over £20 so this would be a lot cheaper 😊 i do love squirrels but they are gready sods! 😂
I have a squirrel that has figured out how to get by it but it keeps most of them off the feeders. Thanks for stopping by
How cool is that!
I thought so too. Thanks for always stopping by.
Thank you. It's time to defrost my freezer, and I was dreading it! 🙂
You're welcome. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh how sweet❤
I thought so too. I think the last egg hatched but I can't tell for sure the way they are piled on top of each other.
What are they feeding them?
Caterpillars
Best stewed tomatoes recipe seen so far. I like to keep on the skins.
Thanks. I like the skins too but other family members don't. Thanks for stopping by.
FYI, as a woodworker, if you have a small bit of glue left that's too dry but still without chunks, you can add a bit of water (because Titebond is water-based), mix or shake well, and use it only once or twice after. It gets weird after a week. I know. Hint: to remove the squeeze out residue even after scraping, you can use white vinegar. Just wet a shop rag with white vinegar and rub on the area that still has residue and won't take stain or finish. You'll be able to see what you can't with the naked eye on dry wood once you soak it in white vinegar. It will be way lighter in color. Just be patient and wipe the residue out with a rag and white vinegar. If it's blobs, then let it soak, scrape, and then wipe. The vinegar will pull all of the residue out of the grain without raising it in most cases (depending on the wood). With enough patience, you'll have joints or blobs or "oops" fingerprints" that will be entirely extracted from the wood and won't show up on finish. The trick is to check before finishing. After, you'll be sad, and there won't be anything you can do but sand the finish, remove the residue with vinegar, and re-finish.
Thanks for the tip.

I have a bee bath in my garden. Thanks so much for stopping by.
You are amazing. I was trying to figure out how I was going to drag my freezer outside and let the sun melt it
Glad I could help! It is much easier than moving the freezer outside. Thanks for stopping by.
This fountain is really sick ✨️✨️
It is so heartwarming to see a couple in the kitchen together~

HIXSON!! Tennessee?🤔 If so, I know exactly where that Goodwill is. That's funny because this is the first time I have seen a post from someone in the same area. I'll have to check it out. Birdbath is beautiful.
Yes, Tennessee. I live across the dam from Hixson. We usually go there to shop. Hamilton Place area has too much traffic although Hixson traffic is getting worse. Goodwill and that other big thrift store down the road from Red Lobster in Hixson are my favorites. Thanks for stopping by.
I love this video! You two should have a comedy show!
Thank you. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and for letting us know how much they cost. Very helpful in know what to budget for and where to go!
Thank you. I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
That's just a heat pump defrosting no issues
We were able to repair it and it lasted another year. It kept freezing over. We finally had the funds to get a new one installed a few weeks ago. Just in time for the summer heat. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Most of my area stores are like this, no way to even get down the aisles to shop. And I use medical mobility equipment. So, most DG`s are off limits for me. Not handicap accessible. I have seen some in other states closed by the local fire chief until they could meet better standards. I feel like everything went into the dumpster before it could pass inspection.
I've complained and it will get cleaned for a week and then back to looking like it was trashed.
Nice video but next time please refrain from giving us a blow by blow breakdown of the prices of each individual item and whether you used a coupon or not.
Thanks for stopping by. Ive had requests for details of what I paid for items from other viewers so that will continue.
@@BobbiJo Where an item is purchased is good information. Most people know how to shop and get deals. So, if you can shorten the videos in the future I think people are more inclined to watch. Time is everyone’s greatest asset.
@@BobbiJo Maybe you could provide a list of materials and prices on a link in the comments? Anyway it’s a nice build. Thanks for sharing
@@robertbabula3683 thanks for the suggestion.
Are you stupid? Those are Egyptian geese
Hello Ms. Chastity, Very nice! those are some nice racks for your cast irons! TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
Thank you! You too!
Hello Ms. Chastity, OMGosh, how fun!! Need prayers, please. My heart is breaking. I found out this morning that Billy my baby brother passed away Friday (05/18) morning. He had been dealing with cirrhosis of the liver since around Thanksgiving. Every week he would have to go to the Drs and have a couple of quarts of fluid pulled from his abdomen. I will be making a trip here in a week or so for his funeral. My brothers & sisters and I will be doing a Zoom call on Sunday to workout the details. I am not posting anything on FB until all families have been notified. is just turned 46 in March. It's been 1 year 1 week and 2 days since our mama passed away. I know that he is no longer in any pain. If you have a YT channel please ask your followers to keep my family in their prayers. Billy left behind a daughter who is 13 years old and 2 sons one is in his late teens and the other is in his 20s. TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
Prayers Cynthia. I'm sorry for your loss 🙏😞
@@BobbiJo Thank you!💕💕
You have the kindest voice. Nice way to store such heavy items.
Thank you.
Bluebirds are my favorites. I even collect Bluebirds. I'd love to see the specs on the cam attachment. I have trouble with Mockingbirds attacking the Bluebirds if they nest near the deck (and they just happen to be our state bird here in Texas). I'll have to visit here more often.
It is a blink outdoor camera. There is a link in the video description. It does short video clips when motion is detected in the birdhouse. I also worry about mockingbirds...we have a lot...it is the Tennessee State bird too. Thanks for stopping by.
Great now address those dang African Violets before it's to late. They'll travel to your neighbors yard, you'll get rid of them then they'll creep back in your yard. And if that's also Creeping Charlie, you're double whammied. I'll buy the slinky tho
They are all over this neighborhood but they go away when the weather gets hot.
Im not good at organizing at all- especially pots and pans. I just move them from one place to another.🙈 Maybe one of these racks would help. 😮
My sister has a different brand made for cabinets and works great with regular pots and pans. This one is heavier since it is made for cast iron.
@@BobbiJo that makes sense. I only have 3 cast iron so maybe I will just leave them in the oven for now. Lol
good job your dogs are in good health to be so old
Thanks. I try to do what I can to keep them healthy. Thanks for watching.
I had one of these solar pumps. The deer drank the water from my bird bath each night, emptying it. The solar pump ran on empty and wore out.
Mine still works but I have to clean it weekly. I don't get a lot of sun in my backyard this time of year because of all the tree cover. So I don't have it out there right now. At my previous house, we had a lot of deer. It was difficult keeping them out of the garden. Thanks for stopping by.
Cool
Thanks
Wonderful idea for bird bath. I also got idea from cinder block planting
I love my cinder block garden. There are so many things to do with them. Thanks for stopping by.
I keep 2 Liter soda bottles for projects , so I cannot wait to try this today BUT, primarily against Grandpa (Our elder resident Rat Snake who usually dines on field mice) from eating our baby birds. He was hanging out near a bird box that had near-fledges yesterday (Titmice) and despite spider webs still intact, I'm not confident he didn't have a midnight snack. But the BlueBirds had been haranguing the Titmice the night before (property dispute I thought) and now I'm wondering if they weren't trying to tell me Grandpa was coming in. [That's what they did yesterday when he was found on the lawn, AFTER the titmice had skedaddled one way or another.]
I hope this works. I have a bluebird house with a camera. She is sitting on 5 eggs right now and I don't want to see any predators on camera. I know it is all a part of nature but I really want to see these bluebirds hatch. I'm doing a video series on it. I haven't seen any snakes here since we moved in 3 years ago but we have a lot of other critters so I'm sure they are around. Our last house, snakes were everywhere. There was one under my kitchen sink one day. But the backyard up to the house was wooded so we pretty much lived in their territory. I keep plastic bottles around for projects too. They come in handy. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. Good luck!
@@BobbiJo Thanks for telling me you're doing a bluebird hatch series! Yes, I will now be subbing to you & appreciate everything you're doing to give nature a hand! I become annoyed when well intentioned husband, "It's nature doing its thing" because I know that! What I DON'T want to do is have a buffet in the middle of my yard JUST because I'm a birder *and* love my snakes. I got two plastic bottle baffles up now; one on the bird house pole (fingers crossed the bluebirds give it a chance) and the other on the bird feeder pole (I have one like you have). I am currently waiting for a squirrel to see if he becomes *baffled.* Haha!
@@Livingsamsara I have a squirrel that has figured out how to jump over one of my plastic baffles. It keeps most of them off the feeders though. I put 2 on that feeder pole and so far the squirrel hasn't figured it out. He is a smart one though .
@@BobbiJo I was actually thinking of adding another one since my station is so close to the tea olive and also the bird bath & this is where some jump from. I know that I do NOT expect 100% deterrence but I'd take half. I consciously want it near greenery since the hawks here can get quite serious about getting a bird so, for a quick cover or getaway.
If you need to build a special space in your home to store your cast iron...you might have castironitis.
I know, right! 😂 This isn't going to hold it all since Steve just bought me some clearance Cast Iron.
Very nicely done!
Thanks Babe.
you use a chimmney generally to get some charcoal lit, not all of them. Then the lit charcoal can light up the rest of the charcoal on your cooking surface. The reason I find this works better is what will happen is while you are waiting for the charcoal to whiten or ash over on the top of the charcoal starter, the charcoal at the bottom of the starter will burn off. I generally light a few which takes ten minutes and then dump all of them on the top of the pile of the charcoal and they will cook down (top down method). Also, lump charcoal does not have the binders that other charcoals do so it does not have to be completely lit and burns a lot more clean.
Thanks for that info. I will try this next time.
I love your fountains and I cannot wait to build a couple for my garden. I do have a suggestion for you... For the bird bath you made from concrete, place a bunch of river rocks, mixed with those glass pebbles you can buy at those Dollar Trees and 99-cent stores that come in a variety of really pretty colors. Place enough of the mixture of small river rocks and glass pebbles so that the water is still reachable, but there is plenty of dry surface for the butterflies, bees, and other small beneficial creatures to drink, bathe, but not drown. Plant some Butterfly Bushes and a variety of blue and purple flowers nearby to attract some Monarch butterflies and honey bees. You'll love watching your garden come alive. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with the rest of us and giving us ideas on these beautiful bird baths we can build for our own gardens. May God always Bless you with good health and prosperity in all you do.
I have a bee and butterfly bath. I also have milkweed planted for the butterflies. I've been expanding my garden each year. Thanks for stopping by.
Daddy Bluebird is dealing with a lot as well. You know her hormones are going crazy right now. An egg a day? I couldn't even begin to imagine.
Are you doing it again? What did that one comment say a few weeks ago? What was that term we had to Google? Oh yeah.... mansplaining. 😂
@@BobbiJo you know me, Manslaining all the time, whether I know what I am talking about or not!
I'm in Knoxville and have noticed how skittish the blue birds are here! It's so hard to get pictures of them. So pretty though! Loved the video! Thanks!
I watch them out of my dining room window. If I'm outside they won't come around. They are pretty and fun to watch them working together. Thanks for stopping by from Knoxville. It is pretty up there.
Do you use cooked or raw rice?
Raw
Hello Ms. Chastity, cool camera/feeder. Love the hummingbirds! TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
Thanks Cynthia. I will be giving a hummingbird camera feeder away when I reach 5k subs so stay tuned for that. You have a blessed week as well. Thanks for stopping by.
Whats the best setting for the motion detection..high medium or low???
I have mine in between medium. On high it sends notifications for any movement. Even if the wind blows the camera.
You are awesome. Thank you so much I am going to try this tonight 😀❤️
Thank you. I hope it works well for you.
I have to wonder if the cook it all would be more versatile?
I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I don't have a cook it all to compare it to. I do enjoy the kickoff grill though. Thanks for stopping by.
This would be a great idea for one of my Mom's old lamps. She passed away 7 years ago, but I couldn't part with some things.
Yes, it is a great way to repurpose old lamps. I'm sorry for your loss. I understand not being able to part with some things. You can also use a shallow plate or bowl and make a bird feeder. I made my sister a lamp into a feeder and the birds love it.
