The olds "rocket" .Had great acceleration for its day. A true classic.
Un Auto con una línea que impacta donde se presente, felicidades al dueño !
Yes, a very sleek, timeless design.
This is absolutely MASTERFUL in every way! I'm guessing: GT wheel that really works on this and the HORN!? Total column magnificence! That's pure confidence for daily operation (and roadside level 3s lol!) The juxtaposition between the 160 speedo and digital illuminated tach with the functioning AM radio is "in your face" multi generation savvy. Pure CLASS. Who ARE you lol! Liked, sub'd, bell. Love to see your work at shows if possible. I'll get caught up with your website soon. Just happened to catch this in my sidebar. THANKS! --- Edit: Just looked! --"sorry sold" is the mark of a champion! I hope this new build/car goes to somebody who'll show it around! Cheers!
Not my doing, I'm just the messenge doing a PPI, but I felt the same way about this superb build.
I liked the Hydra Matic whine sound going in reverse . Can you do that again a little bit longer and a little speed to make it a higher pitch sound with the same car or any other GM car with the Hydramatic? I teach an auto transmission class and that is a request?
That was 2 years ago & I'm guessing it ws sold. Should've made the request a few days ago when I was testing a `55 Olds w/ a hydramatic.
If it is idling proper, you can plac a nickel on its side,on the head, it will not fall over
Hi Grayson. I have the same x2
Can't go wrong with a ,4.6,4v
La la laloook,at,this ,ma,fuka❤,look😢😅😢😅😢😅,showooff
What's the difference between a coupe, a hard top, and a sedan?
Sometimes none, depends on who's using the definition. The original meanings have evolved since carriage & early car days. Different manufacturers will attribute different labels to vehicles of the same configuration, so will uninformed sellers. Best to check a dictionary & the vehicle's data plate.
@@ClassicGray You are wise beyond your years.
A couple has a smaller rear floor than a sedan. '49-52 Fords display many combinations. 2 door coupes and 2 door sedans. With or without a B pillar. Without a B pillar is universally referred to as a hardtop. Personally I think it originally differentiated between full metal tops vs when many cars had canvas center sections surrounded by metal.
@@scottpatterson4105 Many thanks for this authoritative explanation. My granddad had a '63 Buick Electra 4-door hardtop. He called it The Big White Hearse. Fantastic automobile.
In The US a coupe is two door, sedan is four door, hard top is just that (soft top is a convertible).
Hello, I'm looking to upgrade from my Buick Lucerne around December, maybe January, but I would like to upgrade to a Cadillac DTSL. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one for sale? Because I'm not seeing very many on my Google search. Honestly I can't afford the XTSL, also. Would it be possible for me to swap the Northstar motor for the ecotec 5.3 l motor? Do you think it would fit?
Watching from the State of Rhode Island-holy cr@p that thing is amazing-make another video explaining it's history-btw-is that horn sound original-sounds too modern-instead of a beep sound-shouldn't it be more of a honk?
No real info provided by dealer & horn is silly aftermarket.
@@ClassicGray Oh-oh-I see-I didn't realize you bought it in that condition-I thought maybe it had this whole extensive personal resto story/history-there seems to be so many out there-but bro-really-you gotta get that majestic ride it's period horn back-Peace!
@@rubbersoul3723 It's not mine, All these vehicles are ones that I have performed a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) for my clients.
@@ClassicGray Oh-I see-sounds like it sold-or is for sale-are you able to disclose what this thing sold for-or is for sale for?
@@rubbersoul3723 You can check the status @ www.classicautomall.com/
the rear end of that thing was a box with a couple of tail liights stuck on. total lack imagination.
Yep, the design ended at the rear window.
This coral red/white 1955 OLDS 98 is the greatest among all! However, the fender skirts ruin completely the beautiful profile of the curved slope of the rear fenders, turning the original design into an ugly square. Remember that these fender skirts are NOT original, otherwise good old Harley Earl would have included them from the very beginning. I strongly recommend to remove them.
Agree. Not my car, never was.
Hi I have a55 truck that looks a lot like yours , not quite as nice but it’s getting there, just shortened the frame, anyways I have a question have you had the stainless radiator hoses in long enough to give your opinion on them , I will be going over to where I keep my truck and putting in a new radiator and I have the same hose kit as you, your truck is super sweet I plan on seeing if you have many videos, Mike ( Desert Rat Fabrication)
Not my truck; I did the PPI for my client.
@@ClassicGray oh ok , sorry I had the volume down when I was watching it I planned on rewatching it later , thanks for replying because I lost the post , is your channel classic gray
Great car, the 1965 GTO was one of Pontiac's best.
Is this for sale? How much?
It may still be in NJ. Contact Ideal Classic Cars
Absolutely incredible mileage and such a beautiful car. I bought my 94 with 8K miles, what has caused the dash vent to separate from the dash? Thanks for sharing
Don't know. Told the seller he could push it in, not me.
Put some fattys
Jack the back
MICHELTFDDDAKJJJR
Oil smoke.
Does it have an x pipe exhaust or an h pipe?
Headers straight back through mufflers.
I’m pretty sure that’s not an 84.
Modified. See comments below.
It's a 62😂
Love this body style of Studebaker. My family had a 1964 Studebaker Cruiser dark blue wuth a beautiful blue cloth interior. Studebakers, unlike its rivals, had coil spring seats. We took our '64 on trips over our 1965 Ford Galaxy. It was a much more comfortable car. It was built like tank extremely solid. This car is just beautiful.
Sharp Looking car! The Fiero looks better than most cars in 2024. ❤
Only did the PPI, don't know.
Clean, how much?
Best of an old classic pickup ford ever build.
The dinging sound is the built in fire alarm
V6 GT 👊
I always made fun of that car ,,, I guess they were fun little zingers?!?! ❤ nice classic car 🚗 ❤👍
very fun cars for what they are. I recently got a Genesis 4.6 that I'm having too much fun with, otherwise I'd get me a little Fiero to buzz around town in for the summer.
That car has the incorrect front bumper on it. The correct front bumper would be sloping downward and have ground effects to match the sideskirts and rear bumper. A V6 Fiero that is not a GT is an SE. this car is an SE. 👍😎👍
It's been modified w/ '86 body parts, suspension upgrades & the V6 from the same donor car.
@@ClassicGray Ahhhhhh, I see!! I had it BACKWARDS!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@ClassicGray Glad you mentioned the engine, because I was going to say the '84 model only had the 2.5 liter 4 cyl Turd for an engine. The 2.8 V6 was a lot better!
Someone found one that hasn't burned to the ground.
Only the '84 4cyl ones had the fire issue and it was solved pretty quickly with a recall. As with most things,, the media made it worse than it really was.
Still wished I had mine........great car!
that's a random cool car tho love the pop-ups
Mine has a 440 magnum
my favorite year Nova from what you showed looks aok they bring a premium, good luck have fun stay alive.
Thanks, I only did a PPI for a client.
What are you asking for the nova ? Sounds awesome
I only did the PPI for a buyer, not the seller.
Paint scheme is incorrect
That was the least of its problems.
Dude, grab yourself an Oxygen Machine.
Beautiful car. May I ask where did the car go/ located now?
It went to the West Coast several years ago.
Excellent! The perfect location for the car to be in. Cars out here last forever. My 58 Cadillac that my parents bought in 1960 has been a lifelong Southern California car. And it shows. @@ClassicGray

WOW....This is an extremely rare car. I saw a lot of Hudsons in my youth, but this is the first Hudson convertible I've ever seen!
These column shifts should be considered a DeVille instead of the DTS. DTS always came with floor shifters.
I had a 66. One of my favorite cars.
I am looking for one of the kits that someone started and never finished if anyone know of one for sale.
Adjust your jets rich on idle or advance timing a touch.
Not mine.
Summit or whiplash?
?
Cam.
Solid lifters.
Don't think so. Had a period correct replacement engine.
