I know you probably won't ever read this.. My story is very similar, it never satisfies when you go back. I celebrated my 48th birthday I never expected to make it. I celebrated my 1st birthday sober in 31 years I also celebrated 1yr clean and sober. And God is so good. I am so proud of you. The word that keeps me going is fortitude it's one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have seen you in concert like eight times

Years ago was cleaning house, vacuuming and glanced up the tv. This super crazy rock band was playing, i stopped and asked Jesus , where do you start,?, how do you work in their life when they seem so distant, . I did not except an answer. Two weeks later I went to church and Brian was speaking with the pastor that day. Pretty sure i heard the Holy Spirit laughinng, and saying " since you asked let me show you my boy Brian"

Where there is a lack of intelligence and ability to understand things truly, you find religious people filling their holes. They’re comedically contradictory. Happy for anyone who is making their life better… it’s just a shame that they need to fundamentally blaspheme against a proper understanding of the mechanisms of perception. Metaphor , people. Learn history and don’t allow yourselves to confuse metaphorical truths and history. By projecting belief you greatly devalue the truth that can be found in ritual/human story.

The sad thing about Christianity, is that it takes years to truly realize it's BS. It's especially difficult when someone does seemingly have a life changing experience. They don't realize it has nothing to do with a spiritual being, it just has to do with growing up in a dysfunctional family where love and emotional health suffocate under the dysfunction. In that type of situation, love and forgiveness can feel like it must be from heaven but only because those things are missing/lacking in the individual. I know this, I had several "life-changing", seemingly "super-natural" experiences when first "Coming to Christ". Many years in and the blinders began to fall...I truly can't fathom the ignorance of the human race, believing in invisible beings. Sorry but it just doesn't work, it can't because it's not real. Psychology...doing the self-work of psychology...not just believing it but doing it...getting to know yourself...being willing to open your eyes and look at yourself...these are the real wings of change, not invisible "saviours".

Here you go, he is a feeler. This is the key, this is where God can touch you. The other thing is music. God communicates with you through music, it's a substance where spirits can enter this dimension, being good or bad. This is why it is so important what music do you listen to. I was a huge Korn fan in my teenage years, found Jesus when I was 33 (would this be an coincidence?). I stopped listening to Korn in my adult years, I didn't find it enjoyable anymore. BUT I cannot tell you how happy I am for this man, he was my favorite, and became my favorite again now❤.

I know that feeling of being faced with insurmountable temptation and praying for help. He does help. Thank You Jesus.

This is so real is every where in different ways but we use all the alcohol drugs & other stuff that all that can open to release our way to get comfort that your coping mechanism looks for us to cope in life & emotions if we don’t have a safe or supportive environment or system of belief to heal or I overcome all this emotions & our environment is evil & corrupted& open to those access of soothing & comfort will be more likely to be open to release everything negative in those things & yes all the this things to cover our weaknesses our pain our struggles & traumas that had not been healed or restore in right spirit or way to defeat our emotional & constructive way to bring to captivity to the obedience of Christ,😊we sooth awesome 👏 & heal up better with Christ,because He is our Healer of humans He came to hel & restore the broken-hearted people around me & me too, need Christ but God had a special way & a divine intervention in heaven and earth to send Christ Jesus the Lord of Lords the King of Kings & He can only restore our life’s & others … This is awesome ur testimony will go & reach people that will be able to see that God is Real … Prayers brother God is our refuge in time of needs we are made for sure to bring people to Christ… Prayers for you & ur Family

But then he allegedly went back to Korn again? You can’t sing the songs they sing and follow Jesus at the same time. He asks us to deny ourselves and leave our old selves behind. He doesn’t want us lukewarm - he should start writing music that glorifies God. Unless of course Jesus has asked him to go back to be around certain people, but it’s likely because he’s been offered a lot of money to tour with them again.
