And yes, in the Black community, there are different socio-economic classes. Those Blacks who attended college and joined a fraternity and or sorority are naturally going to be in professional jobs. In this city, they are the school teachers, college professors, lawyers and doctors. Yes, they sit on various boards. In my experience, they often mitigate racial discrimination by their very presence. Not, they are not social activists must because they are Black, though many have had their careers thwarted for pushing back against discrimination in their particular arena. If these organizations were established and represented the perspectives that he states, I suggest to you that they have evolved and the vast majority of their current members are not even aware of it. To their membership today, these Greek organizations are there to promote brotherhood and sisterhood and to serve the Black community at large. I listen to this channel and I find it entertaining, particularly when he critiques current social issues in the Black community and race relations in the work place - the attitudes and motive of the Beckys and Karens of the world. But when he goes out of his element into areas where he has no experience or formal education, he simply does not know what he is talking about - like in this instance. In a nut shell, he would have you believe that most college educated Blacks are hurting working class Blacks by protecting White Supremacy. Really? What they are really doing is keeping White Supremacy from relegating Blacks back to overt racism and legalized discrimination.
