Rotary Tumbling Barrels
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 11 lety
Tumbling barrels work well on small parts. They are commonly used to finish screw machine parts, jewelry, and medical parts. They can also be used to mix dry or wet chemicals. The barrels and barrel plugs are impervious to most all chemicals. It is easy to retrieve the parts from the barrel by using a separation screen over a container. They also work well for burnishing brass, copper, aluminum...

This is very clear and specific.
"Would this approach be effective in removing burrs from solid wood components? I am involved in crafting wooden toys and currently hand-sanding thousands of wooden parts. I am seeking an efficient method for mass production deburring. Any recommendations from experts would be greatly appreciated. I am considering the use of wood media in conjunction with fine abrasives."
Yes. This can be used for wood finishing. I believe a hardwood tumbling media is the type of media you would want to use.
Yes, i will try this out & share the results@@djochoa
@@heyhippotoys Did you already try? I'm curious myself now
Which media is for plastic
Why did MotorTrend TV take your show off when your show was the best of any show I think your show was the best it shows all the awards you Received on the work of your cars

This was such a great video! Exactly what I needed to know.
How to get material in India
Hi, anything that you recommend for deflashing polyester and phenolic parts? 3x4x1" in size
is ceramic polishing abrasive media supposed to shine metal parts? It just makes mine very dull.
Ceramic abrasive (gray color) is for deburring. It leaves a dull matte finish. Porcelain ceramic (whitish color) mixed with the proper compound and run for the proper amount of time (1 hr max) can burnish parts back to a brighter shine (not full chrome polish though). A full polish can be achieved with a dry treated corn or walnut shell in a 12 to 24 hour tumble cycle.
Can you guy's do a video on the every 30 day's of Operation Recommended Maintenance? show tools required and how to check each component. this will be a great help for people . Thanks
How could we work with the very loud sounds of machine? How could we reduce that?

Price is extremely high considering the alternatives. Just the price of the containers tend to be higher than most brass tumblers.
Do you have to use the fluid or can you just run it dry for cleaning rust off old hardware?
The abrasive action on the media does not work without liquid lubrication. Removing rust works quite well though with the standard process. Check out this blog post on our website cmtopline.com/blogs/news/before-and-after-soiled-and-rusty-steel-mopar-auto-parts

Nice! If you were thinking of something more in the consumer market, there seems to be a gap between the small capacity (Lyman cyclone, Hornady, Frankfort) tumblers, and the several thousand dollar commercial machines. If you made something in a 4 gallon machine that was under say $350, there might be a market.
Thanks for the feedback Jeff. Keep an eye out in the future.
how much the price tlv 75??
is this process more effective than a sand blasting method? for deflashing?
