Honoring clerkships: tips for every day on clinical rotations
Despite being notoriously subjective, there are some tried and tested ways to positively influence your end-of-rotation grades: to help you go from a ‘high-pass’ to an ‘honors’ grade.
Yousef Salem (MD, University of Texas - San Antonio; Matched into PGY1 Dermatology in Match 2024) learned the secret sauce to honoring rotations quite early in his clerkship year. His techniques saw him crush his NBME® Shelf exams, honor 7 of his 8 clinical rotations, and score an insane 270+ on the USMLE® Step 2 CK.

    To clear up a point of possible confusion it's Important to note that a normal result for Rinne's test is paradoxically called a positive Rinne test.
