That is correct :)
Århus har meget skov og bakker
Det er mange år siden jeg har været i Århus. Det er vist et tegn på at jeg må en tur forbi - og måske lave en video! Tak fordi du så med :)
this video is just making everything slightly more negative than it really is. i live in a completely renovated apartment in city center at half the price of what he said. Those prices are what you pay when you got ripped off. And the nature is nice
If you got an apartment like that for $1000, you are indeed one of the lucky ones. There are apartments like that for sure - but if you haven't been on a list for years or don't know anybody that can get you a foot in the door, it's very hard to get them (in particular for foreigners). I'm not a big fan of the nature, as you could probably hear from the video, but if you like it, that's awesome. Thanks for watching! :)
Those are pretty much the same prices everywhere across western Europe. I bet you do have higher salaries though
For major cities in Western Europe, you are probably right. Salaries are quite high here for sure - next video will be all about this. Thanks for watching :)
Yes, there are many interesting places in Krabi from kayaking in mangrove forest, island hopping, hot spring, water fall etc.
Copenhagen is the best city for living.Denmark is the best country for living.
I visited Kobenhavn in 2018, in February sadly, but I still loved it. I had long johns under my jeans, double socks, gloves and pretty warm jacket. But I was freezing still, extremely cold wind didn't help either. That, and having spent whole day out, we walked like 20km that day, to see as much as possible. It is properly cold, I'll give you that. Was still enjoying the beautiful architecture of old buildings with clipped roofs and bricks. You were lucky to be excluded from major battles in recent history. Unlike Serbia here, which was practically leveled in WW1 and WW2, then came the communists which destroyed the rest of buildings from the old kingdom. It is expensive and I was expecting that, some things are just over your head, like having a pint of beer or any food except the hot dogs which are pretty good and somewhat cheap. We did find some locally brewed lager in Christianshavn for around 2,5 euros if I remember correctly. :) Gonna have to visit Denmark next summer to properly enjoy it during warm, long days.
Yeah, that wind is the real culprit! Going in Summer definitely sounds right for you :) - Many places are really expensive, but there are still some great deals out there; sounds like you found one! I hope to cover more of places like that in the future. Thanks a lot for watching and sharing your thoughts.
50% income tax is insane. I understand the benefits of healthcare and education being"free", but giving half or more of my income to any government is something I could never get used to.
It always hurts a little when you see the before and after amount on the payslip.. :) Thanks for watching!
To the stupid government of America, never, but to a government that is capable of ensuring the high quality of life in Denmark is another thing. Because of the social security they have there is also less crime, more equality, more freedom.

I'm in Toronto and Copenhagen looks cheaper. Rent for a two bed is $3000+ per month. Eating out typically is $30 - $50. Also, there isn't much nature and what nature there is left is boring for the most part. Winters can be evil with temperatures dropping as low as -40(rare but does happen). Even the typical -20 it far too cold for me. Great video!
Thanks for sharing! Those winters sound brutal...! Doesn't get that bad here, luckily.
Honestly, don't travel to places you can't afford. Living in crummy hostels and not eating proper restaurant meals just ruins the experience in my opinion. I suppose it's different if you are backpacking and THAT is the goal of your trip but I'd never travel just for the sake of travel without the proper budget.
This is wild, watching from Southern California (South of LA) this almost looks economical. average 2 bed apartment to rent here is much closer to $3000 USD or above. Latte is the same if not more here if asking for Dairy alternative milk. Weather is different though of course. Love the video's Adam!
Interesting! Thanks for sharing. In fact, if you compare to other capitals and major cities around Europe, renting and buying property in Copenhagen is actually ‘relatively’ cheap. - When I visited LA and San Diego, most things seemed pretty expensive too though. But the weather there is too good to be true 😅 thanks for watching!
Next content should be the cost of living in Denmark and Do and Donts in Copenhagen :)

Really cool video. I now stay down the road from your apartment and your info was very helpful for me to make some smarter choices when I moved from Cape Town
That's awesome to hear! Welcome to Copenhagen :)
Im been there 2017 and 2019 I liked it very much, i think one of my fav destiantion in asia, also lombok was super I wonder how much is it changed now, it was popular even then but its been 5 years and im thinking to go back there, only thing im a bit scared that 5 y is a long time and if its twice crowded now , then its not so cool anymore :(( my fav places were uluwatu and ubud

Great video. Thanks
Hope it was helpful, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, as I'm in Copenhagen right now I find it very useful and it matches much more to my interest than majority of those videos created by your fellow YT colleagues which are actually tourists in your town. Btw nice bike you have, I used to have one with the same gearbox (I believe it's Shimano Nexus). I wonder if you can rent such bikes in Copenhagen?
Im glad you liked it - and thank you, this was my exact intention! - And yeah, it's an awesome bike. You could try going to a local bike shop around where you're staying in Copenhagen. Many offer rentals for tourists as well, and then they might not 'just' be those standard bikes. Enjoy Copenhagen!
Great video, thank you for sharing your realistic numbers. We also had a video with more than 1 mio. views which monetized our channel 😊
That's awesome guys, congrats! Thanks for watching :)

Awesome video. Where in Amed can I rent a normal bicycle?
Good question! In Amed, I honestly don't know. If it's hard to find information about it online, I would ask around - probably at the hotel.
Ohhh no, I need to travel when I travel.... Poor me, oooohhhh... jeez dude check your privilege
Great video, super helpful!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for this video. Very helpful as I am planning my upcoming trip to Copenhagen. I wanted the Christianvahn vibe but no available hotels for May 29-June 2. Would Amager Vest be a good area to stay for first timers. Was looking for something quieter but with access to touristy areas.
Ah, that's a shame! But yes, it can be a good option as well. The area is not the most fun (in my opinion) but there are quite a few hotels right be the metro, and then it'll only take you 5-10 minutes to be right in the city center.
Hallo ! AWhat do you think of the area Islands Bygge for a first timer in CPH?
It's great! You're basically on the other side of the water from Vesterbro, and also right next to Christianshavn. And it's a lovely area by the water!
Soooooooper video Mr.Adam. I'm really enjoyed.Thank you
Glad you liked it! Thanks a lot for watching :)
This is such a good video! 1. It's well structured. 2. Informative. 3. It even has great cinematography and editing. Better than most other videos I've seen so far.

because i am just finishing high school i want to go on a trip to copenhagen and london but well because of when uni starts in my country i would only be able to over like nov to jan what would you suggest for these times (i already plan on watching a superligaen game if they are on
Sounds like a great plan! Of course, it's cold in those months. December is nice though, as there is a lot of Christmas vibes and markets and so on. I would try to do more indoor activities as well, compared to if visiting in Summer. So museums, cafes and so on (I will make future videos on what to do in Copenhagen in Winter). The Superliga is on holiday during December and January! There might be a match or two early December, but November is your best bet to catch a match here.
@@thenordicadam I realise as much but because of well wanting to be home for Christmas among other things so gonna try see the team I follow play a friendly or something over latter part of jan if I can

P.s. are you available for daily hire wingman while I’m in KBH. Although I know the city pretty well, the last time I was there was in 2006. A lot has changed I’ve noticed.
Hej Adam, I really enjoyed your video. I was an expat in KBH for about 10 years and I’ve been planning a trip back for 10 days. Can you recommend a hotel in Fredericksberg that’s affordable and near Fredricksberg Alle? Thanks, and tusind tak.😊ogsa, is Cafe Victor still open. How about that jazz club, La Fontaine? Those two places were my favorite hangouts with my jazzy friends Kristor, the “bassman” and Janus, the “tommermand”.
Hey! Somehow I missed your comment, apologies. Sounds awesome though! You could look at Cabinn Scandinavia hotel or maybe Hotel Sct Thomas. I do go over some of the options in my newest video! Cafe Victor is still open and going strong :) I have never been to La Fontaine, but as far as I can see, it's still there and plenty of events going on!
You are a hidden gem amongst travel CZcams videos. I learned some things most guides don’t mention and you’re a joy to listen to.
