SAFETY RESTORE Repair Locked & Blown Seat Belt Pretensioners After Accident
Decided to make a video about my seat belt repair experience with safetyrestore.com. My brother crashed my Nissan that ended up popping the airbags and getting the seat belts stuck. Apparently these have some pretensioner gas charges in them that go off and blow. Nissan dealer wanted $180 for each not including any other charges. I searched for my alternatives on Google and found out I can get the seat belts repaired! Safety restore was the company I went with as they offered a 24 hour turnaround and lifetime warranty. My seat belts came back working like new - fixed by safety restore for a little over $100.

    The pyro sensor in the seat belt pretensioner could be bad. Most likely need to replace the seat belt pretensioner. You can buy a used one on www.eBay.com or send your seat belt for repair at www.myairbags.com Here is Video link czcams.com/video/xT5tiT2A78w/video.html

    Beautiful engine , the holy grail of Ford !

  • @badass6.0powerstroke10

    The 427 SOHC was an Absolute Monster. Ford's Baddest Engine ever made. Probably the Baddest Engine Anyone ever Produced. I'm partial to the 351 Clevelands, and the 429-460 Fords. I ran Clevelands for years in my 86 Mustang, made the switch to a 521 Stroked BBF about 10 Years Ago, Went Low to Mid Nines, N/A through a 1000cfm 4150, Out of the Box Trickflow Street/Strip Heads, Nice Solid Roller, C-4 Auto No Brake, 8.8 with 3.90 Gears, on 275/60 Drag Radials. Mild 10.4:1 Compression. Love the High Winding Cleveland, but the Insane Low End Torque of the BBF is hard to beat. IMO the 427 SOHC Was the most Bad Ass Engine FORD, or anyone has ever made. They say the Buick 455 Stage 1 was the Hemi Killer, The Real Hemi Killer would be this Beast. The Mighty Cammer !!! I would Love to come across one of these. Just can't imagine how this Beast would look under the hood of my 86 Mustang. I'm keeping my eyes open for one of these. Just not sure if I'd be able to afford one tho.

    These engines were available over-the-counter from Ford in 1968 for the incredible price of $2,395 minus the accessories. A single four barrel 427 Cammer put out 615 horsepower two four-barrel carburetors gave it 657 horsepower out of the box.

    I got online to check this company out just to see how they do it so i can see if they replace the gas or gun powder (I dont know) and or do they just unlock it by removing the lock inside? Someone hook power to theirs after they get it back and see if it discharges :) P.S. I am assuming they do fix them right and havent heard other wise.. If u happen to wreck your car again let us know if it deployed/ locked

    These videos are aggravating as fuck. They all are titled "restore" or "repair" the belt.. and then just show how to either remove it.. which c'mon, if you can't figure that out on your own, don't bother. I mean don't bother with doing ANYTHING in your car. Or how to mail it off and pay somebody else. I mean what the fuck kinda useless shit is this. Title it "How I paid somebody to repair the seat belt for me" or "how to remove seatbelt". Don't include repair or restore. Fuck.

    I watched a lot of videos on this topic and read a lot of pages. The simple tip of holding the seatbelt in the orientation it is supposed to be mounted worked for me for a BMW seat belt (although that gets held level, as it gets mounted in the car.) Thank you for this video!

    That's the mild version of the 572 vs the race version of the SOHC. I think there is a hi-perf version of the 572. SOHC is an awesome engine no doubt, but point is, GM did make some stuff, unlike what the character above said.

      Amen! And they're being resurrected again by several small builders. The cost to get in that club is around $50K whew but what that would do to a '55 Ford 2dr is awesome to think about. I think I'd spend some of my spare time prowling for Chevy's latest polyester stovebolts and some of those eurowoosie squeaky toys. On the 7th day God rested and on the 8th day He made Ford to make all men equal

    This was the greatest peice of muscle car engineering but it was never really used for production or racing and its too bad becuase it could have led to great inovations from Chrysler and maybe even Chevy. I am biased, I like Mopars but respect Ford for its technology, when Ford wanted to do something they usely made it happen. I like some Chevy's but to me they always seemed lazy to me. The HEMI is king of muscle cars for two reasons, it was used in racing and you could buy cars that had it.

  • @Albee98188
    @Albee98188 Před 11 lety

    Yeah maybe becuase Ford and Chevy cried because of the Daytona/Superbird were kickin their tails... They all wined and cried get over it, the cammer engine is great but at that time it propably could not have been a production engine due to cost to build and cost to sell.

    This Ford 427 SOHC was a serious engine. Rated at 657hp with 2, 4 barrel carbs from the factory and capable of a lot more. This engine was top dog over the Chrysler hemi,but sadly Ford didn't install any in production vehicles,but a lot were sold over the counter. I think some company called Dove Engineering still makes this engine.

  • @moparnutjim
    @moparnutjim Před 12 lety

    False information. The SOHC was to be run starting in 1965, the year that Nascar banned the HEMI and Chrysler pulled out. Further more the SOHC 427 and Chrysler Hemi's never competed against each other in Nascar.
