Took the opportunity today to clear up a few foxes we have been seeing on one of our farms in the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire
1 with the .308 & another with the .22, took a heart and lung shot with the .22 to be safe as it was 70/80m.

Roe Buck Stalking: The Rut

The rut is in full swing down in the south west of England with bucks coming into the call. We called in this buck early in the evening using the buttolo call. Using the Swarovski EL range finders gives me so much confidence taking high neck/ head shots. Stalking in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We spotted this buck on the edge of a wood lay in the long grass. We stalked right in to 30m where we could just see the tips of his antlers. We walked back to 50m where we watched with the rifle on the sticks for 10mins hoping he'd get up and give us a shot. *sighhh* youre more then welcome to pay for the protection and conservation of the lands and animals. Once you get enough money to pay for that you let us know. Hunting gives the land and animals value. Without it eventually that land would probably be a strip mall or a parking lot.
