I have a Yamaha PSS-680.

I have the Yamaha PSS-680 which has blue drum/rhythms pads instead of purple and cyan pads but the PSS-680 does also have a different demo song.

I actually considered buying this keyboard way back in 2008 as I needed a midi keyboard to control my Roland MC-505 but went for the PSS-790 because it has AWM sounds. In April 2021 I bought a Yamaha PSS-680 which is the same as the PSS-780 but has light blue drum pads instead of pink and turquoise pads.

Vielleicht kannst du mir diese Frage beantworten Geht sich um das Talking whiz kid plus von Vtech. Nutzen ja viele fürs circuit bending. Es existier ein Video hier auf CZcams, malfunctioning toy von Shane Park. Er schreibt in der Beschreibung dass sein Sohn das Ding wohl zu oft hat fallen lassen. Am Ende des Videos scheint der Computer aber wieder einwandfrei zu funktionieren. Diese Töne, die er in besagtem Video macht, macht der Computer auch in fast jedem bending video in fast immer der gleichen Tonfolge. Mich interessiert warum und was du darüber denkst, kommt das in dem Video von Shane Park wirklich vom runterfallen oder können sowas auch leere Batterien machen?

Hi. Is there anywhere i can find the instructions for the last mod you did on the 390 with 2nd FM chip? Do you happen to have a spare power button that will fit a pss 490/590? That cracked board you could have soldered it back together along the ground plane.

Looks like a great mod. Are there instructions anywhere? Is the 2nd chip also midi controllable? Have you basically put the board from a 2nd pss 390 inside with the other one or only a 2nd chip? What is the black box? Midi? How do both processors pass / mix through your patch?

Hey Baum iv tried to find you on Facebook but i wss unsuccessful at finding you, id like to do my first cirquit bending project and i have a yamaha pss 270 to work with i prefer twisty knobs on a synthesizer rather than a patch bay and the main mods id like to do would be Control over oscillation, lfo, vco and filter really anything else would be a bonus it would be great to get some tricks and tips from you as like i say this will be my 1st attempt, thanks

Hi I love your toys this is fun.... Im starting to get obsessed with retro synths and that stuff and I love to custom my first keyboards but I just don't know anything about electronics yet. As you seem cool and pretty friendly I would like to ask you something. I like the chords sections of the classical casio or yamaha keyboards, and I often like the beats, but I get really bored of the accompanishments of the chords when the rythms are functioning. Do you think it's possible to block some circuits or something to make the chords sound continous while the beat is playing wiyhout triggering the accompanishment?? Maybe that would be interesting for a lot of people since that keyboards stilll popular. Thanks for reading me (sorry if its too noticiable that english is not my first language)

This voice is awesome, I wonder if there are any software synthesizers nowadays that have this voice, because it imo sounds sometimes better than "modern" computer voices.
