I’m 33 my mom just died 3 weeks ago from COPD. I never thought it would happen so soon and so unexpected. I miss my mom so much. I just want another hug from her again.

I know my mom is still with me, but lately I've been listening to this whenever something bad happens or if I just feel anxious or stressed because something about Cyndi Lauper and the Lyrics make life worth living.

I remember when this movie came out. I got the best years of Nickelodeon, Toonami, etc., because my kids are 5 years apart. They both loved Rugrats. When poor Chuckie was sitting on the plane as this song was playing, I had to leave the theatre and go into the bathroom for a good cry. (We had gone to see it with their father's brother and his family, so I didn't leave them alone!) I wish I could have had a mother that loved me...

I was 11 when this movie came out. At this time I could feel tension in my family and as terrified my mom would leave or die. This song really messed me up. She has since passed but I’ll always remember how I felt.
