Toyota Prado 150 Series GXL D4D 1KD Engine. Turbo Whistle evident as the result of foreign object entering intake (small piece of rubber from modifications to the intake rubber pipe). Damage to the Turbo veins is clearly visible with a significant bend in many of the veins. Resulted in a loud whistle. Vehicle has done just over 2000 Kilometers like this. Prado 150 with the War Bonnet team doing Fishermans Rd on Stradbroke Island in 2014. Lots of water, track is tight with lots of sticks to scratch the paint. So before we head in Dave says "Do ya mind if it gets a little bit dirty"
yes I agree with Mikey Watts comment. I remember them being famous in the 70's. Something good to do whilst we in covid lockdown
