Would you know why the tip only will break/pop off but leaved the builder gel thickness behind? Like no lifting at all but the nail tip breaks off it has happened to me before a while ago and now jst recently each with different brands

What you are calling cuticle, cuticle area o cuticle line, is not the cuticle. The Cuticle is just the crusty skin stuck to the actual nail. What you are taking about is the proximal nail fold, thats the skin all around the nail 😅

Using acetone will cause lifting allowing moisture to get trapped under the enhancement. I do not recommend.
