If you're sick and tired of using air with powder/solvents to install solid lift rod covers, here is a great solution. Only takes about 15 minutes to install. Available at EBN Bowling.

Love your AMF lil rake!
Ich habe so eine, wußte aber nicht womit wird getankt. Danke für das Video. 🤝👌
Which center is this, also are you still working with those AMF 82-90XLs?
This IS killing the sport
Yes. I absolutely agree.
Aren't they still selling Freefall Pinsetters though too?
@@logangreger7620 yea but strings are unfortunately becoming more n more popular. They still make free fall machines
@@Koeni_Nick13 How many bowling centers are petitioning for free-falls?
@@logangreger7620 idk. Majority of bowlers hate strings like me
Dear King's Cool Stuff! Can you make a detailed video of how your downed pins go up? How does the lifting wheel work?
Where can I get these pinetters?
Why did it reset 4 pins when only 3 were left standing after the first ball?
the house always wins
You're absolutely right! I just watched the video I noticed the same thing you did.
StringPins will always rely on the string itself for detect scoring , it can have faulty pin counts so easily. This machine is garbage
How much for one?
Are you asking how much it cost to build the machine?
1st comment and nice video
This is INCREDIBLE. Just removed a few 82/90s the other day. The pinwheel looks very similar with the orientation pan just like that. Also the cups in the pinwheel are similar to the xli edge pinwheel. Very very very nice build.
Challenge:Make a 300 before 00:00(12:00 am)😂
😊
it's like a 1/2 scale 82/70....very cool
We have 32 AMF 90s for sale.
Cool. I'm not familiar with 4Runner generations, but that looks to be an older one. Mine has a digital display. 2015 Trail Edition just hit 500K yesterday! :)
Congratulations!!! You are right, mine is a bit older, it's a 1996.
500k miles on a 5th gen is crazy. What issues did you have?
Still trying to get a start on mine. Looking good! Where do you find vendors for part like carpet belt etc?
Most everything is bought online, the carpet is just a piece of vinyl that has been sewn together
@@Kingscoolstuff I used to repair Brunswick pinsetters for 15 yrs, I used to work on a 1/2 scale pinsetter while leagues were bowling. There is a couple things I made on my you tube profile. Are this pins 3-D printed?
These pins are purchased overseas from a company called winsome
I'm a girl who has never done anything like this before. Didn't want to wait for the hubby so I did it on my own thanks to your video💪🏻 thank you!
I am working on a 1/2 scale pinsetter also. Where did you find the the conveyor belts, pulleys, etc? I used to work on Brunswick A-2's. looks like a few parts might be from 82/70's.
This is absolutely amazing! .. however, I have thought about pin setters a lot this past year, and there has to be a better and simpler way of doing this. Currently systems use way too many moving parts. There seems to me a lot of room for simplification and improvement with these machines.
muchas gracias bien esplicado
I have the same year and drivetrain. Any chance you still have the oem part number to share?
but how come how come the ball no wont back???
I'm trying to build a half-scale pinsetter, is yours running on a PLC? Also, where a good place to get motors/ conveyor belts & pulleys, etc?
Where do you live
Beautiful
Very cool lantern
The ones I bowled on were the same system as this but its the BOSS v1 which had the AMF copyright 1995
Will that work on a 06 Impala
What does it mean that the camera is self adjusting? When would it adjust and how?
And the best part! No pins on strings!
Was it the AccuCam II I wanna say? (the gold ones? We had Accu+ back in the day, GOOD cameras too just no auto adj ofc). Either the "II (2)" ar maybe AccuCam1000, been too many years lol, those were the 2 that popped to mind tho
The gold ones worked very well for many years. Like you said, the only downfall was they weren't self adjusting.
@@Kingscoolstuff Even that wasn't TOO terrible. I was in a 64 laner at the time and it wasn't CRAZY often I had to do one. The big pain honestly was the targets lol. Like if I could adj just from a full rack of pins even it woulda been nice. I always just went full out since I was messing with it anyway, check height, alignment, etc. Def GOOD cameras tho overall, Accu+ as a whole was solid, rly not many issues for a large center
That is so funny. You have the same scoring system and the same keypad that my home bowling center uses.
My question is. How did you manage to get the AMF scoring system?
It was bought through Mack Lanes
@@Kingscoolstuff nice
Does the cpu have the actual amf accuscore XL software on it Or is that the MIU
The CPU has the software.
@@Kingscoolstuff does the cpu have a floppy disk or CD in it?
What is the lane itself made of? Is it just lane paneling cut in half?
It's a piece of synthetic bowling lane cut to size.
Is that a real AMF Computer?
Yes it is. AMF XL
If I could get my own lane id try to get an old Accuscore Unit to use@@Kingscoolstuff
They have a love hate relationship lol
Very helpful. Thank you!
How did you get the BOSS scoring working?
Where can I get 1 of these for me to bowl on @ home ? I love the sweep specially my favorite of all 82/70, 82/30 machines.
Hey quick question Can you give us a better look at the scoring systems cpu/main computer? I'm really interested in that types if stuff
Yes, the next video I make will include more of the scoring system.
@@Kingscoolstuff when will. That be if you don't mind me asking
Probably not for about 3 weeks.
Lol 😂. I love on how he put the pin on the sweep.
This is AWESOME! A couple of questions, if I may. First, Is this just a one off for your own or will you be producing them for sale? Secondly, was whoever built this an AMF engineer?
This is just a one-off machine and my buddy that built it is just very smart and copied it from an AMF machine.
Ah ok. Again It's an awesome machine. The best one I've seen for a home brewed model. I started bowling when I was 7 and always wanted an alley at home. A number of years ago I did buy 3 sets of Linds 1/2 scale pins. I researched the Brunswick A2 and other pinsetters to build my own. Got sidetracked and went racing instead. LOL I'm currently building a replica Bally pinball machine. @@Kingscoolstuff
How much time and cost for the machine? I built 2 lanes in my basement. But it's manual! THAT'S A1 craft right there. Good job guys!💯
Awesome
Saw that purple hammer… 😍 Getting that ball next week.
Random question. Since the pins double stack of the machine has more then 21 pins will it continue to feed on the distributor? I used to work on the 82/30 a long time back and remember there was this flipper type switch pin that held the pins in place and would either drop releasing the pin on the distributor or stay pushed up holding the pin in place on the pinwheel. The 82/70s / 90/s don’t seem to have them.
How does the pins stay in the pincup while spotting? Can u show us the pincup upclose, maybe the tabe movement too
How does pins not fall out if the pin cup while spotting? Can u show a upclose view of the pin cups and table?
