The Scot is seen first at Egham where she is seen rolling towards Virginia Water, I then Chased it to Shere to Catch 46100 climbing the 1 in 96 grade, This was a sight in itself but the sound was Fantastic, Enjoy!

It is so great that the sound of 35018 coming through completely drowned out the boring announcement that 'due to a problem with lineside equipment......' and only became audible again after it had gone '... please speak to a member of staff....'. A score for old technology...

Yep !! I was lucky enough to be on that train, boarding at Datchet. Brittania performed brilliantly acceleration was very impressive and the diesel apparently did not assist !

Really enjoyed that! Fabulous footage of 6990 leaving Keithley with a short freight. V high quality driving skills needed to do that without a slip. Nice video! If you don’t mind, what lineside field was that from 3:54. Is it easy to access?
It is, Straight down one of the public footpaths from near the station, about a 15/20 minute walk in good conditions however when I was there the footpath was really muddy so maybe take an extra pair of footwear and expect to get some mud on your clothes.
