CLAMP展: Artbook COLOR - SHIRO 白
The CLAMP Exhibition is an event that is currently taking place in Tokyo, at the exhibition center "The National Art Center", where several illustrations created by hand by CLAMP members are being exhibited, as well as several matrices of the manga pages that we know so much . There are more than 800 works, including colorful and monochromatic.
The Exhibition is divided into two phases: the first phase (from July 3 to August 12) and the second phase (from August 14 to September 23, 2024).
The first area of the exhibition is called "COLOR", where there are colorful illustrations. In the two phases of the Exhibition there will be two large groups of different illustrations, therefore, all colored illustrations are exchanged for the second phase.
I am contextualizing to explain: the COLOR: Kuro artbook shows the illustrations that were exhibited in the first phase of the Exhibition and the COLOR: Shiro artbook shows the illustrations that will be exhibited in the second phase of the Exhibition.
I was in Japan, in Tokyo, this July especially to see the CLAMP Exhibition and I can say how exciting it is to see the original illustrations up close, every brushstroke, stroke, cutout. Follow CLAMP-ME on Instagram and X (Twitter) to see more about the CLAMP Exhibition.

I'm so glad you're in Tokyo! Is the CLAMP Exhibition still showing in Roppongi? I want to go either next year or in 2026 for CCS's 30th anniversary.
I went to Japan and I'm back in Brazil, tomorrow I'll be back at work! The Exhibition is still ongoing and will soon begin the second phase, where the original colored illustrations will be replaced by a second group of illustrations. Unfortunately I won't be able to be present in this second phase but I wish everyone who can be there a good trip! The Exhibition will end in September. I really want to go back there next year! Who knows, maybe we'll meet there? :)
