Wild Hog Charged Me Hunting - Follow up shots with Marlin 1894 Cowboy in 44 Mag - Graphic

Hunting wild hogs is always fun, but sometimes they charge. I was glad to have some "fairly calm" follow up shots with my trusty Marlin 1894 Cowboy Lever Action in 44 magnum. This hog stood it's ground then decided to charge. I hit him every time, but these critters are built like tanks. Third shot got him down and the fourth for good measure. Glad to have a clean kill to fill the freezer with ...

Just discovered you guys-& you’re coming to FL! Love this song & lyrics!! Hang on!!❤️🌹
Did a band competition at Del Fest almost 20 years ago... Started watching this gideo and instantly recognized the venue. I was 15 and it was crazy, had a lady ask me to buy pills, saw a hippie couple getting at it down by the river (Gillis Brothers reference), and no shit saw the KKK up on the mountain side. Absolutely crazy time 🤣🤣
I'm a hunter too but how is that funny, I don't get it, that's a serious situation and the animal and the hunter deserve nothing else but respect, but it's not funny
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Love Frank Solivan!!
Not too sure he charged you, per se. I think he was just running after being shot. I e had all kinds of animals including deer do the same thing. Just running.
Beautiful,, swing by Arizona when your ready to go!!
How does it feel now, 6 years after the surgery? I just had mine done yesterday and I wonder....
Feels just fine... good luck with recovery
Hi Brotha' Frank...I just found some instructions on Google for toasted steel oats that in my view are a bit more clear for people to understand than I could see from your video... I hope this helps.. ----------------------------------------------- Add raw oats to a dry skillet and heat the pan on medium heat. Toast the oats, stirring occasionally until they turn golden brown and smell slightly nutty, for about two minutes.... Then slowly add water, stir and simmer for about 5 minutes... Cover and cook on low for 15 minutes... I hope this helps anyone who was confused like myself ☺️👍🏽 ....Peace & Blessings☮️
H...Thank you for the instructions but I'm I'm a bit confused... The instructions are moving very quickly and can hardly be seen being that the letters are not dark enough against the background of the film... Also, the directions on the box of steel oats says to cook in a sauce pan but that looks like a frying pan in the video... Please let me know which is correct...Thank you again... Peace & Blessings To You✌🏾✨
😅😂😂😂😂
How do you miss with a 44 mag dude? And in a lever gun too. I mean fn really!
“How do you miss with a 44 mag” that’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard
My great-great grandfather was eaten by wild hogs in Kentucky. Of course, he'd been robbed and murdered first. True story, I've seen the contemporary newspaper account.
wild hogs are powerful as bulls, dangerous
Dang, he was mad at you
Come at me, bro?!
Chris P. Bacon rip
You fellas are incredible!
That hog was 3 weeks from retirement too 😢
That hog had bigger balls than all of those other nitwits combined!!!
This song made me laughcry "the greatest feeling in the world" Senead O'Conner🥰🤩😎❤❤❤
Those b’stards are bad tempered.
Yeah now try that on a momma grizz
why?
Looks good!
Central Coast California?
Lots of hogs outside of San Jose seen many of them running along 101
So it's very strange cuz I am getting capful tunnel done in May and all the musicians are like playing a few days after. That all had great experiences. Like it was a piece of cake. And I watched this one girls CZcams and she had carpal done. She worked in a factory and she had to end up quitting her job even after the surgery and she said she had pain a year after. These guys look like they had the opposite experience. 🤔
the 3rd. shot, "I think I can make it." 4th. shot, "I don't think so." ...shake it off.
That one came in!
Looks like every one of your shots was way too high, just skimming his top. With every one you can see smoke at the very top, rather than at middle for a direct hit, and then bullets hitting dust a lot farther off in the distance, not nearby. Indicating you aren't getting solid, direct hits. Requiring 4 shots of 44 mag to finally get him also indicates something is wrong.
Can you make thumb Pics out of it
My ex wife charges faster for a Big Mac and a….well nm
Bacon.....it's what's for dinner....
Hey there I really dig your style man really beautiful sound and original. I Found you on Eastman guitars in their artist section, as I’m thinking about getting one cause I really love their sound. I also saw a comment in French below saying that they met you in Paris, I am American but I live in France for the past 5 years where I have a band anyway just curious if you you just visited or do you tour France for music ?
My uncle Climbed a tree are he would have been eating by a wild boar. Back in the 50s in Texas.
I have hunted these feral pigs for years. The wounded ones are the dangerous ones. My partner was attacked by a wounded boar even after being shot with a 270. Luckily I was there as the 400 pound beast knocked him to the ground and cut open his leg. One shot from my 22 hornet in the head did him in. I do not trail wounded boars at night anymore especially by myself. When trailing a wounded boar now I use an 18 inch semi-auto shotgun loaded with buck-shot and a slug!
Once again, shot placement proves to be crucial. Well done!
never pet a dog that's on fire
I hope yo go to Delfest to see Frank, Cabinet and Mike Biz. What a ticket that would be !
Play that banjo! Mike Biz is also an excellent banjo player too!
Where is this?? TIA.
Love the background!
Excellent Bluegrass! Foot tapping..
what was that with the lady seemingly going to give a pistol? a little tiny weensy pistol.
For the coup de grace.
Thats a .357 magnum Ruger Vaquero with a birds head grip. Tiny gun indeed but plenty power
maybe it charged you because you were pointing a gun at it dum dum
You do realize, the ham, bacon, and pork you eat from grocery stores is made from slaughtered hogs, right?
@@BigDaddySwingingMeat Patrick thinks feral hogs know what a gun looks like, so it’s doubtful he is aware of where meat comes from.
@@Pavia1525 I think you're correct. I just visited his channel page and noticed he is a soy boy euro c u c k o l d that lives in Germany. 😆
Where is this? Looks like Paso Robles California maybe.
I was thinking the same thing, or Shandon.
@@jaredmccutcheon5496 You guys take the same road or something?
Determined to getcha! I've got an 1894 .44 Mag. that I picked up used in Northern Colorado.
I do not think he ever saw the shooter.
what part of the country is that? looks like mule deer country not a place I expected to see old bo pig.
Shame he did not get you.. Coward
Unlike you, he is man enough to hunt his food. Buying it at the supermarket is what beta males do.
Killing for pleasure. How pathetic.
No, he killed it to eat it. Read the description box, bonehead.
Hog had no chance against a big boar rifle.
Close the distance.
