Okay, first things first I owe you all an update on the Carl music:
I KNOW this isn't a Carl song, but if you've been subbed for this long then chances are you’ve given up already- I haven’t posted in a year and the last thing I DID upload was the worst possible Minecraft tutorial I could manage to make. If you’re still holding out hope after that then you’re one of the most faithful people on planet Earth. I know I said I would finish the EP, but that was a very long time ago and I'm an adult man in college with a full time job.
Unfortunately, CZcams doesn't pay the bills.
If you wanna unsubscribe because you're "only here for Carl," or something that's fine, but please try to understand that I don't have enough passion for the Carl project to deliver anything I'd be happy with or proud of.
I never meant for the songs to get that big- I made the original Carl Lo-fi in a gas station parking lot before school. The thought popped into my head while I was driving (on a day I didn’t take my ADHD meds) and my brain wouldn’t let me do anything else until I made it.
I posted it on Twitter in October 2019, it got maybe 50 retweets and I thought that was the end of it. About 6 months later someone reposted it to iFunny and it got forty thousand likes, so I uploaded it here and now I have 18k subscribers for some reason. It was a one-off meme that ended up getting bigger than I ever could have imagined.
I made this channel with a few friends right after we graduated as a place to post any dumb idea we could think of making- as happy as I am to have an audience this large, this channel was never supposed to be a Carl Wheezer music channel.
It has and always will be a place for me to post the dumbest sh*t I can think of. And right now, that’s a Fortnite cover of Weezer’s Say It Ain’t So.
Thanks for all the support you’ve given me throughout all of this, you all rock (except the little freaks who haven't stopped blowing up my dm's for the past two years, go outside and throw a football or something)
