…in the 1970s my friend Roy and i, fans of Fernwood and Sex & Violins, drove the 3 1/2 hours to Toronto, without tickets, and bullshitted our way into Massey Hall, to stand by an entrance door to the left of the stage and watched Colleen Peterson open for Martin and his Fabulous Furniture, and then turned around and drove the 3 1/2 hours back home in pure elation…

The Martin Mull dinner party fact that I love to shock people with, Jimi Hendrix wanted Martin as the guitarist in the JH Experience. He was THAT good.

Not the best way to slide the middle out, you have to make it seamless when you slide the middle out and the front part needs to slide as if you're sill pushing it through otherwise it looks false just how yours did, ie the front looks like it moves leaving the rear behind. You have to push the two together then the front moves a bit more after. If you watch Harbin (the inventor) perform this, he gets it right.

I'm very saddend I've always admired Martin's film and TV roles, a wonderful actor! A man of many talents; musican and artist. As a kid in the UK in the 90s and 00s his comic timing was perfect and he was hilarious as Mr. Kraft in STTW! His paintings are beautiful too! What a sad loss to the world, which is now a less wonderful place without him! A perfect gentlemen Rest in eternal peace Sir! Fly high!
