At around 20:30 in the video, I asked the audience if neural network's architecture is similar to the human brain, and answered "qualified yes" (mostly true with some caveats). CORRECTION: I should have said, "qualified false" (mostly false with some caveats). Artificial neural networks are inspired by the brain. Although some early research aimed to model or emulate the biological brain, this is no longer the goal for most AI research and development today. Outside of brain model research designed to be biological realistic, the artificial neural networks today don't have much resemblance to biological neural network at all.

What a ridiculous questions people ask, especially the Tesla one. Very nice high level presentation though.
